I'm excited to announce that I'll be offering new breathwork and meditation classes starting in January 2024. These classes are designed to help you relieve stress, tension, and anxiety, and improve your overall well-being.

Now it's time to turn inward, slow down , take time for myself, nourish & mind myself. Unfortunately I'm still having a lot of back pain & a recent mri has shown some new issues with the disc above the one I had surgery on. I am going to have to review how I'm working over the next few months, my body needs to heal, even though I'm doing regular walking, Pilates & physio I feel like my beloved work is aggravating my spine & I know this because new issues are presenting that were not there last year. This means I'll have to lower down the amount of people I see , to see if this will allow me less time sitting & more time to focus on my rehab. As you can imagine it's incredibly frustrating, I found a job that I adore, with the best most amazing & supportive clients. I'm going to play around a bit with my hours /times for Nov/Dec as October is pretty much full. Thank you as always for understanding 👻🎃

🫶Three Good things -it's a variation on the journal , write down 3 good things that happened to you each day

We live in an epidemic of chronic stress, it's mostly emotional or mental stress we face these days due to overexposure to social media, bad news, state of comparison, focus on achieving and high expectations of self, feeling like we are not good enough etc.
The reason it's so important for women's health is because the endocrine system and nervous system work very closely together, the nervous system sends out electrical signals whereas the endo system sends out chemical signals to keep the body in balance ( homeostasis) the autonomic nervous system controls the body's internal processes, such as blood pressure, body temp, digestion etc. it also plays a direct role in the physical response to stress
The stress hormone cortisol has a direct effect on our female s*x hormones estrogen & progesterone. Progesterone can transform into estrogen when there is too little but progesterone can also transform into cortisol when the adrenals can't keep up with the body's demand ( remember cortisol is sent out from the adrenals when the body is in fight or flight) the body will always prioritise survival so may "shut down" the non life saving reproductive system as it's deemed " unsafe" to reproduce. This is why it's so important to manage stress on a daily basis and super important when TTC

What you get : your choice of 30 min treatment each -foot reflexology, facial reflexology or Reiki. While one is having a treatment the other will relax either in the egg chair or lying down on a yoga mat with cushions& blankets just taking time to ground & relax.
Once both sessions are complete I will do a guided meditation to fully relax you and let you unwind, followed by a nice herbal tea for you & your pal to chat about your experience and chill

I was working on recruitment, earning thousands a month, flying off to vegas, New York, Amsterdam at the drop of a hat, on the outside I had it all. I was successful in a job I hated for two reasons - my people skills & I cared about my personal rep and doing a good job.
Unfortunately I was also suffering with imposter syndrome, extreme anxiety, people pleasing, no boundaries and zero connection to myself ( who I was or what I wanted) I was chained by golden handcuffs of money -never could I have imagined there was a way out
Here I am 15 years later, still a work in progress, still learning & figuring out who I am, what balance looks like to me. Trying to be kinder to myself, nurture myself as I do others. But I have found the spark , the joy, my passion & purpose and that inner glow & peace cannot be bought

So it’s Mid January, it’s Baltic, everyone I’m seeing is still exhausted, stressed, overwhelmed. Most feel like they “ should” be doing, doing , doing
Here’s the thing, January is winter, nature is still asleep, it’s freezing cold, be slow and gentle with yourself. Stop looking at what others are doing & feeling pressured , just do YOU. This is not a race. Take it easy. My biggest thing so far this year with clients is “ what are the small manageable changes you can make towards a healthier / more balanced lifestyle “ don’t try to do alllll the things, it doesn’t work. Find the most pressing issue , or change you want to make & start small. Slow & steady wins the race

As 2022 comes to a close it’s a lovely time to sit back and reflect on the last 12 months, please remember we were all still in survival mode from the pandemic, life went from 0 to 100 very quickly and I think it’s safe to say we were all feeling pretty burnt out by the end. Please don’t make drastic changes and feel you aren’t enough. You are, you always have been. Only focus on things that bring you joy & peace, let go of guilt, beating yourself up & comparison. Unfollow accounts that make you feel s**t. Your diet is not only what you eat, but what you consume on social media. I’m going to spend a few hours looking back and setting some new goals for 2023. Mine will all be based pretty much on my own personal health & wellbeing. I’ll be practicing what I preach a lot more this year. Building up a business coupled with a pandemic has been very challenging and I was overstretched a lot of the time. I physically can’t do this anymore so I will be spending more time eating well, cooking, exercising, meditating and trying to tackle some ongoing health issues I’ve accumulated. I am ready 🙏🙏

The countless transformations I’ve witnessed, you are all amazing. All of the beautiful texts with the “I’m pregnant” and then to see you through the pregnancy and meet the beautiful babies in person or the photos you send me, you’ve no idea how much that lights up my soul. The support & love I was shown this year when I had covid & my back surgery and you were all patiently waiting for me with big smiles. As a small business owner it can be very lonely at times but getting to work with the most amazing clients really is the best feeling on the world. I cannot wait to see what 2023 has in store for us all.
