"Environmenta" is a vibrant new body of work responding to environmental issues through a series of colorful paintings and drawings. Inspired by bushfires, rising sea levels, mining damage, reforestation, and the critical role of trees, the works explore these themes using bold, expressive colours and fluid painterly styles.

Last day today to see the Orpens at Farmleigh. A huge thank you to everyone who has called in to visit and to curators Dominic Lee and Jeremy Hill, it has been a pleasure to host these exhibitions in Farmleigh Gallery.
Sir William Orpen's knighthood medals are among the many items you'll probably never see again as they are on loan from private collectors. The exhibition gallery, Phoenix Pk. Dublin ends this Sunday 25th Aug.

“Wonderful this morning to see the Orpen chalice on display. Presented to William’s father Arthur Herbert Orpen by the congregation of St Brigid’s Church, Stillorgan in Dec.1920 and then given back to the parish in 1988 by his grandson”.
Lovely to meet another grandson of Sir William Orpen at the ‘Orpens at Farmleigh’ exhibition (which ends this Sunday 25th.).
Here’s Bill discussing the photo of his mother Diana Orpen & her godfather Sir Hugh Lane. Sadly, Lane died on the Lusitania weeks before Diana’s 1st birthday.

Two paintings by Sir William Orpen which feature in ‘The Orpen’s at Farmleigh’ exhibition - Edward Cecil Guinness,1st Earl of Iveagh (1904) who was a previous owner of Farmleigh House.
And Evelyn (Gardenia) Bligh St. George (1908).

Lovely to have another Orpen descendant visiting the 'Sir William Orpen, A Family Legacy' exhibition at Farmleigh Gallery, Phoenix Pk. Dublin. This lady Beth Pearsall came all the way from New Zealand to trace her Orpen ancestors. And that smile says she enjoyed her visit.
