In light of the recent government guidelines we are required to close Christmas Eve at 3PM. We will be serving delicious food from 11AM to 3PM on a walk in basis only. We wish all our loyal customers a very Merry Christmas and happy New Year.

Following the announcement yesterday evening by the Irish government, to move the entire country into Level 3 restrictions due the severity of our current pandemic situation, it is with a heavy heart that we must once again temporarily close our doors at Josie O Shea’s tomorrow for the next three weeks in an effort to help slow down the spread of Covid 19.

Having been closed for the majority of 2020 already, it is absolutely heartbreaking for us to have to close our doors once more, but we understand that it is in the best interest of each and every citizen in our country.

We must all do our very best for the next three weeks to try to bring this pandemic under control.

We wish to offer our apologies to those of you who have upcoming bookings with us.

We wish you good health and all the very best and we look forward to better times in the future for us all when we can welcome you back through our doors again.

In the meantime, look after yourselves and each other.

We are so overjoyed to announce that we shall finally be opening our doors to the public this Monday 29th of June at 12PM.

From the bottom of our hearts, we would like extend our gratitude to you for keeping us afloat by availing of our take-away service over the past month and a half.

It was so heartwarming for us to see all the familiar faces from a distance and your loyalty and support to us throughout the past few stressful months was simply incredible and will not be forgotten.
Your custom was so appreciated.

We absolutely cannot wait to welcome you back warmly through our doors in person and serve you our delicious food and beverages again!

Reservations can be made by phone at 065 6797999 but are not mandatory.

Walk-in’s will be very welcome as we will have an in-house reservation system in place and we are very confident that this will run smoothly for us all.

We have next extended opening hours for the forseeable future.

We will be serving food from 12 to 9pm from Sunday to Thursday and from 12pm to late throughout the weekends with full bar service available.

We ask you to be patient with our staff over the opening days and weeks. This is all new to us too and we are all so excited to get back to work in the new normal and we simply ask for your patience during this time to ensure that we can provide the highest level of quality, safe service to you throughout your entire dining experience.

We are very lucky to have a large dining area consisting of two floors and additional outdoor seating in our newly refurbished beer garden and we will be fully adhering to social distancing guidelines across all of these areas.

We cannot wait to see you all on Monday and over the coming weeks and months and to welcome you back through our doors once more.

We have missed you all hugely and will continue to provide a safe, high quality dining experience to each and every one of you .
