Our Story

Fat Freddy’s restaurant is situated in the heart of Galway city centre, in Quay street. This area is known as Galway’s Latin Quarter. It is a hub of activity all through the year. A visit to Galway would not be complete without a meal in Fat Freddy’s restaurant.

The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere with a wide ranging menu to suit the casual food lover.

We also cater for special occasions, parties and of course intimate meals. So come and enjoy the great food on offer. You can watch as the staff in the open kitchen lovingly create your pizza using home made pizza base from an Old Italian recipe for which we are world famous! We also offer many speciality dishes.

The relaxed family orientated and quirky interior is full of atmosphere and interest and gives a great dinning experience to all our customers.

The cozy candle lit atmosphere keeps the locals coming back again and again for more of the wonderful food from this unique food outlet. Our friendly staff will make you feel at home and you will feel that you are a friend dropping for a chat and a meal by the time you leave!
