Magical sunset over our beautiful city this evening π
Over 30 years ago, when I was just a toddler, I came across the book 'Gnomes' by Will Hyugen and Rien Poortvliet. The illustrations in that book left a profound impression on me. So, when we founded our little publishing company, I couldn't forget how those charming illustrations had resonated with my younger self.
Driven by the nostalgia and admiration for the artwork, I decided to reach out and secure the licensing rights to produce these precious gnomes as cards. Little did I anticipate that 'Gnomes' had touched the hearts of countless people worldwide, just as it had touched mine. It's humbling and heartwarming to discover that this book has brought joy to so many, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to share these delightful illustrations with others through our company. π

Artwerk Press X Amy Ross
9 years ago today I found the building that became the home for Coffeewerk + Press.
It was a ten month journey with countless obstacles to bring my vision to life. So many amazing people helped and contributed, however I could not have done it without the help of Stephen Walton from and Ben & Joshua Gabriel, carpenters from . Their dedication and attention to detail enabled me to create something that I think is still as beautiful now as it was all those years ago.
9 years later and they continue to inspire me with their creativity.
Thank you for everything π

Γr Wildflower Honey comes exclusively from a small apiary of four hives in Menlo, on the shores of Lough Corrib. The area surrounding the apiary is a patchwork of small fields and hedgerows bursting with wildflowers, giving the bees a wide range of nectar and pollen to forage over the spring and summer seasons. The hives are perched on an area of karst limestone pavement, uncultivated and unfertilised comparable to that of the Burren and boasting a similar variety of flora. The apiary is approximately 4 miles from Coffeewerk + Press.
The beekeeping
The hives are managed using natural beekeeping methods, working with the biodynamic calendar and with the rhythm of the bees. We do not feed the bees sugar syrup as a food supplement which is often used by conventional beekeepers to boost bee numbers and honey production. We only harvest the surplus honey leaving the bees with the rest for overwintering.
The bees
Our bees are native dark honeybees (Apis mellifera mellifera) which have evolved on this island for thousands of years, adapting to our climate and variable weather. They are naturally docile in nature and are frugal with their honey stores which helps them survive during periods of bad weather.
The honey
This raw unblended honey is unfiltered and unpasteurised as nature and the bees intended. Raw honey will crystallise over time. Ideally, keep at room temperature.
