I like this photo. The new garden is magical first thing in the morning receiving the very first rays of sunlight long before it reaches the more sheltered inner garden. Also more fog and more frost which present challenges for the gardener but not the photographer.

Lutein is a powerful and is the main carotenoid found in spinach, kale and avocado. At first glance, doesn’t appear to contain much lutein: just 500 micrograms per fruit—less than a tenth of what spinach has per 100 grams. But avocado’s lutein is special. It’s pre-dissolved in heart-healthy monounsaturated fat. That makes it hyper-absorbable. In a recent clinical trial, adults who ate one avocado daily saw their blood levels of lutein increase by 25%, which is better than what was achieved by others using a lutein supplement in a separate trial. High blood levels of lutein have been linked to lower risks for , prostate cancer, lung cancer, pancreatic cancer bladder cancer and others in observational studies.
