In the final part of our recent 4th year Agriculture Study tour Scotland, 𝙂𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙧𝙙 and students visited a sheep farm, Marcus Maxwell of Viewfield Romneys and a beef farm Robert Parker of Drumdow Black Baldies. Both visits were excellent, enjoyable and served up a number of talking points over the next few hours, days and weeks. A huge thanks to Marcus and Robert for their time and being open with their farm details.

As part of our recent 4th year Agriculture study tour to Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿, 𝙂𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙧𝙙 and students from ATU Donegal had the opportunity to visit the SRUC KIRKTON & AUCHTERTYRE FARMS Hill and Mountain Research Center. The trip was very interesting, and we got a preview of the current research, the up coming research over the next few months and years as well as an update on the most recent work carried out, which is ready for publishing. Thanks to everyone at SRUC.

North West Career fest was held on May the 9th at ATU Sligo. 1,500 Transition year and 5th year students from all across the northwest attended the very well organised event. The students got the opportunity to visit information stands from colleges, professional bodies, industry and further education sectors and talk to advisors on what career paths were available. Student also had the option of going to information talks from a wide variation of guest speakers.
𝘿𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙣𝙚 went along with the marketing team to discuss the Agricultural options.
