𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐚𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬,

The end of November our Limerick Powerlifting Club based in Southside Barbell took part in the IPO AIPO Charity Championship 2023.

The team lifted outta their skin, hitting many PBs and records.

The Charity comp is a great end of year competition, for our members to take to the platform along with lifters from clubs across the country. All coming together on the platform for such a worthy cause.

Huge thank you to every single one of our members who supported this event. From entries, to sponsors to donations and raffles all the funds add up.

Southside team never fail to help out both on and off the platform, with referring, comp setup, warm up area, helping lifters in their warm up sets and most importantly to clean up afterwards so Southside is back in proper order for all members.

The IPO raised €𝟳𝟭𝟭𝟴.𝟬𝟬 which have now received. Bringing the total raised since 2015 to €𝟳𝟵𝟲𝟳𝟮.𝟰𝟭.

Good luck to Southside Barbell member Anthony Brown as he is competing at the IFBB European Championships 2022 today in Santa Susanna, Spain.

Anthony will be competing in the over 50 Master and under 80kg category. Anthony is in awesome condition and at 52 years of age he his bringing a complete package of mass muscle and condition to the stage. We are confident he will do very well and it will take a lot to beat him.
