I love this clip . We alll have tough times and I have come through a very , very tough and unexpected few months that temporarily effected my mental health and I experienced lows I thought weren't possible.

Martial arts doesn't make us invulnerable to bad experiences but for me gave me the strength , honesty and courage to admit when things were wrong. I got help and to be honest would be lost if it wasnt for some very special people.

I take a lot of pride in the fact at Munster Martial Arts we have a community that is very special and as I have said many times before anyone out there struggling as I and some of my students have in the past come and train with us . We have your back!

We are back to our full schedule from Tuesday and I can't wait . We have some amazing things to look forward to together and I look forward to whatever lies ahead for us .

We are currently enrolling new students so if you are interested in a place please get in touch via WhatsApp 087 2366866 or private message the page. .

Classes will resume as normal from Tuesday 27 August with classes then running in the city at Rollerjam Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturday mornings. In the county we have class Wednesdays I'm Newcastlewest and Friday in Hosptal.

We are now enrolling beginners and new students for places in September . If you are interested please get in touch . We have places suitable for kids , adults and teens .

I will be back teaching at class's tomorrow night Tuesday 6pm and 7pm and also Saturday and I am really looking forward to getting back steering the ship again .

I want to thank all the senior students who stood in for me recently and everyone who reached out , family and friends who helped . I regard myself as a strong person but I am also only human and I took some time out recently to look after my mental health which took a knock due to personal reasons

Over the years the people of Limerick have all been honest with me with regards the reasons they train so I feel it only fair that I return that honesty as I benefit from Tang Soo Do in mind , body and spirit just as much or maybe even more than most of my students.

For anyone out there reading this who is struggling or finding life difficult feel free to come and do a complimentary s class .Just message and say " Pat said to get in contact " and there will be no questions asked. I have had some spectacular ups and devastating downs but I managed to pull through so I can empathise and I know I speak for everyone in Munster Martial Arts ITO Ireland , we are a team and we've got your back.

Can't wait to see you at class tomorrow and for those away on holidays see you all soon too.

Grading day Munster Martial Arts ITO Ireland

After a busy few weeks that included two International Championships , Black belt tests and classes with one of the world's best teachers of Tang Soo Do KJN Dominick Giacobbe next week many of our students will test for their next belts.

Students as you make final preparations remember relax , practice and also visualise what you are doing. Don't focus on others as we can't correct other people's mistakes and shouldn't be influenced by them just do the best we can ourselves in your training and in life.

Congratulations to new 2nd Dans David Enright and Eoin Adams . New Black belts Stephen Cullen , Shane McInerney and Sean Conway.

You all did a very strong test tonight. Well done you all did yourselves proud .

Today we had an absolutely outstanding day in Cardiff where we competed at the Traditional Tang Soo Do Federation International Championships competing against teams from all over the World . This is one of the largest events in the world .

We had a small team of just 16 competitors and are bringing home medals from accross a range of divisions and have 12.medals going home.While not everyone does get to being home a medal you can all be super proud of yourselves. Your team work and experience really stood to you today . Some people had experiences today that are going to help shape them in a massive way going forward. I am proud and super impressed .

Thanks also to the parents that once again support us, and came today , many of which also travelled last week to Belfast also thank you. I endeavour to be the best instructor I can be and give your kids my best efforts

Congratulations to absolutely everyone that came to Belfast the weekend and a very special thanks to Grand Master Nar and his team of Masters and students for once again inviting us along to what was a really enjoyable and well organised event . KJN Nar knows me since I was a Red Belt and as KJN Giacobbe always says one of tne real values of Tang Soo Do is the relationships you build through it. Thank you also to Grand Master Yi for his kindness and hospitality shown towards me and my students.

I want you thank every single parent who took the time to travel on a Bank Holiday weekend. Our team did amazing and represented our club with such high standards on the floor but more importantly off the floor conducted themselves with such respect, fun and team spirit that made me very proud . You are all the future of Tang Soo Do in Ireland and the future looks bright.

We came home with lots of Medals which everyone will hear about Soon but what medal counts don't reflect are the battles people faced , the courage you all showed in competition and an invaluable learning experience that you will all grow from, our amazing team spirit and the fun we had.

Of course not everyone can get Medals but you are all champions and made me and I know the other senior black belts so proud.

Very proud of what was achieved tonight with Stopthebully.ie with over 60 people attending a parents talk I delivered at a Dublin school I worked in today.

That's now another 60 people that can make a positive difference in their kids lives and those around them.

Stopthebully.ie works and has now helped thousands all over Ireland .

It always means a lot to me coming back here . I worked here before and commuted every day over 2 hours from Limerick then back to teach Tang Soo Do. I did that for years and it took a lot out of me .I decided to take redundancy and give myself a year to make a living out of something I loved and setup Munster Martial Arts ITO Ireland which also led to Stopthebully.ie being established.

That was 15 ago and so much has changed since then . Happy to make a positive difference for a living now.

Very different day today working in a prison with Stopthebully.ie and Munster Martial Arts ITO Ireland

Not something I ever imagined I would do and something I thought a lot about but glad to have been asked and taken the opportunity.

Never imagined I would teach Tang Soo Do in a prison along with the other stuff I did

Classes this week Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturday in RollerJam Limerick , Wednesday in Newcastlewest and Friday in Hospital .

If you would like your family to join please get in contact . We have classes for kids , teens and adults and also family classes suitable for kids and adults .

It's come to my attention through my work with Stopthebully.ie that once again there aee some very harmful trends on Tik Tok and snapchat that are badly effecting kids in Limerick .

Friends can I please ask you to keep an eye on your kids use of social media. Please remember to keep phones, tablets etc out of bedrooms , don't allow kids use them on play dates. I would also urge you to check your kids ages on social media profiles as almost all kids I meet in schools are lying about their ages . Many young kids are then mixing with older kids in online groups where I suspect they are finding out about these trends. This is a delicate subject but one that can't be ignored.

Our ITO Ireland International Championships in Limerick city was outstanding . I am a very proud Limerick man and to run an event like this in our city gives me an enormous sense of pride . The manner in which everyone conducted themselves, the atmosphere and positive spirit of the day and seeing how we come together with Tang Soo Do friends that came from all over the world out of a shared love of our art , commitment, dedication and hard work is simply life changing . I am so happy to be able to give this experience to our students, friends , families and city of Limerick.
