Many like to evaluate their life's progression on the first day of each month.
February 1st is a biggie on the Irish calendar and for good reason as evidenced by St. Bridget's CV (Kindly written up by someone I know ). She was strong and quite revolutionary for her time and it's a reminder that we can be the same - on whatever scale that works for us.
Find your strength and move with it.

A pretty clear layout of how we create negativity in our daily lives. Listen to the end and learn about the 4 "C's". Of particular interest to me was his thoughts on commiserating with others.
So instead of 'Calorie' counting lets count the other 4 C's for a day or two and see what we can learn about ourselves and our influence on our environment. Then let's all work on cutting out some of the negative and have a happier holiday season.
Having witnessed two very angry men recently in a public setting, you wonder what got them to that state of solid anger - the anger that is so threatening you feel physically threatened and the air around charge. [ It's interesting to know that often anger can even stem from issues with an institution rather than a person.] If anger is bubbling within, if it surfaces regularly - it is time to learn how to let it go so you are not continually doing damage to yourself (physically & emotionally). You deserve to stop reliving the event, the hurt, as you've gotten into a cycle that is only damaging you.
We can guide you to where the hurt lies and how to let it go and move on in a happier, healthier state. [email protected]
If you're someone who likes scientific proof, how about this: even neuroscience has shown that 'thoughts' and 'emotions' can play a big part in physical pain (esp. long-term pain ( )).
Here's one quote from a paper reviewing the relationship between emotions & pain "... In contrast to the effects of anxiety in augmenting pain, positive emotional states generally reduce pain."

Who in life hasn't had a wee fall?? Sometimes small events can lead to big emotions.
In this schematic we're very interested in no. 2 & 4.
We can't change the event that happened in no. 2 but we can reframe how you feel about it so that no. 4 can instead depict you loving bike-riding again, knowing falling is not the end of the world and maybe you'll see that past fall as you providing entertainment to the onlookers and laughing about it rather than feeling vulnerable or nervous.
If your or are impacting you in a way that is not beneficial it's time to do something about it before there's long-lasting issues.

Have you ever thought about how emotional states (or an emotional history) can manifest in various skin conditions?
Let's take a look at some interesting information:
" Lesson 1: The mind-skin connection is real.
There's no shortage of ways that emotions manifest themselves in physical symptoms—think butterflies in your stomach when you're nervous or a pounding heart when you're scared—but this effect is particularly strong when it comes to your skin.
The relationship begins in the womb: "The skin and nervous system share a common embryonic origin, meaning the same cells form both the brain and the skin," explains Josie Howard, MD, a board-certified psychiatrist with expertise in psychodermatology. This creates an inextricable connection, which shows up in a multitude of ways you may not even notice (more on that later).
Lesson 2: Stress is the root of many skin evils.
Blame cortisol. This hormone is released any time you feel tense, triggering a fight-or-flight response that enables you to react quickly in life-threatening situations. While it's beneficial if you're being chased by a bear, it's not quite so helpful in daily life. Yet these hormonal shifts accompany every kind of stressful experience: a bad day at work, grief over the death of a loved one, prolonged anger over current events.
"Cortisol is meant to be pumped out for only a few seconds or a minute," explains New York City board-certified dermatologist and psychiatrist Amy Wechsler, MD. "When it's chronically elevated for days or weeks on end, it has all kinds of negative effects on the skin." Excess cortisol breaks down collagen, increases moisture loss, triggers inflammation, dilates blood vessels, slows cell turnover and increases sebum production, she says.
Translation: Say hello to wrinkles, dryness, irritation, redness, dullness and breakouts. When a skin ailment strikes, it's on display for the world to see, which is why skin issues have such an intense emotional impact, explains Howard: "As soon as we sense that people around us are judging our appearance, we feel stressed. It starts a vicious cycle."

The Best Use of Imagination is Creativity -
The Worst Use of Imagination is Anxiety.
It's a somewhat simple yet powerful concept / reality .....
What messages is your subconscious mind receiving these days, the positive ones ( ' my goal is ...', 'I can get this done', etc. ) or negative ones (the 'what if's', the 'but's', 'I can't's ...', etc. )?
Hypnotherapy uses the power of your imagination - to get you out of the negative and to use your own powerful imagination 'for good'.
Is it time yet?
If you're ready, we're ready for you.
