If you are heading abroad on holidays, please be cautious if you are buying medications. This Spanish product, Apiretal, is a paracetamol solution similar to calpol, BUT it's concentration is different. Calpol infant has 120mg in 5ml. This product has 100mg in 1ml. So the dosage would be very different. Make sure you check the dose for your child (usually weight based) with the pharmacist before you give a dose. Also check the strengths of other medicines or tablets that you might buy while away, to avoid taking or giving excessive amounts. You can still call National Poisons Information Centre, Ireland if you need us while you're overseas.

First Aid Respoder (FAR) Course April
GOREY, Gorey Business Park Wexford

All workplaces with employees are required to have a FAR member of staff available in an emergency. Early Years offers this training to all but specialise in the childcare/primary sector. This training is suitable for staff that have never done FAR before or need to refresh their skills but their previous cert is out of date. This course is run in affiliation with Emergency Care.
