Just a message to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who helped out this year – we hope you enjoyed the experience and benefitted from the patient contacts.
The festival ran for 3 days this year, during which we treated 100 patients with 5 transferred to hospital. Well done to all who were involved from Naas, Newbridge, Monasterevin, Athy, Birr-Roscrea, Tallaght and Palmerstown.
Ye were great to work with and we look forward to having the craic with ye all again at another big duty in the not too distance future !

The current heat-wave we have in Ireland may have an adverse effect on any Automated External Defibrillators your group/community have. All models and types of AED have their own working ability and limitations so be sure to check the units and make sure the excessive heat within cabinets has not affected the pads or the machine itself. Some cabinets will restrict the heat within itself also. External temperatures may be higher in the cabinet, the same can be said for boots of cars.
