Great dressage show at Slieve Bloom Stud on Wednesday evening.

Maui was very naughty refusing to use one end of arena in his first test, but then second test he was a good boy gaining a qualifying score at elementary.🥈🥇

Laragh rode Dali to get great scores winning both pony tests.🥇🥇

Lisa and wonderful Nova headed off to Cavan. Some great rounds placing 3rd in amateurs class first day and a round where the rein snapped mid round which was eventful. There's nothing these two can't do.💪💪

Laragh came out if hibernation after her junior cert and took two to Grove EI. Riley placing 6th in 100P class and Buī placed 7th 90P class. Nice to start the season with confidence runs. 👏👏

Riley found it all very funny, and was chuffed with himself.😂🫣

⭐Maddie's did two unregistered prelims. She was brilliant taking home scores of 70%+ 🥇🥈

⭐Archie just back in work trying his hand at unregistered prelim and novice took scores of 70%+ 🥇🥉

⭐ Swayzee did preliminary and novice cat 3. Scores 74% 🥇🥇

⭐ Willow did unregistered novice and elementary. Placing 🥈🥈

⭐Maui did cat 3 novice and elementary. One retired for way too many changes happening and novice 🥈

⭐Laragh rode Matty doing novice and elementary. Gaining qualification scores novice 70% and elementary. Placing cat 2 🥇🏅4th

Really nice positive show and lovely to see horses growing in confidence at every outing and starting to tip up the levels with nice scores. Thanks to all the owners who were all hands on on the day to keep everything running smoothly.

⭐ Well done to Ruby who went to Fort mountain Tuesday with Snowbell and placed 10th in young horse qualifier in a big class of professional riders. 💪💪

⭐ Ruby and Snowbell headed off to JAG Sunday riding a trick 110 round but learnt loads.

Yesterday Ruby and Snowbell headed off up North to take on their first YR RDS qualifier. Sitting 10th after dressage jumped up to joint 2nd/14 after their jumping round.

Exciting news for our Under 25 members - the list of tests for the Youth National Championships can now be found on the Youth page of our website.
Qualifying criteria: Preliminary to GP three scores of 64%, Trailblazers two scores of 64%. Scores must be obtained at Dressage Ireland shows from at least two different judges between 01/01/24 and 11/08/24
Entries will open on the 29th July and close on the 12th August

A few pictures from the last few days. It's been all go all the time but a beautiful venue set amongst the trees.

Started our week off with Emma Buckley Equine Therapist giving all our horses a check up. They all loved every minute of it. Thanks Emma for keeping them all in check.

Then the weekend saw lots of outings.

Laragh Byrne and Steendieks Dali Gold's first CDIP of the year.

🌟🌟Dali was a little excited on the first day but then redeemed himself placing 6th with a 66+% and then Sunday they danced in the Kür to place 5th with a 68+%.

Sunday was a day for greys🫣 Hugo, Swayzee and Willow.

Thanks to all the lovely owners of these three horses for letting laragh have the ride of them on Sunday.

Swayzee was up first who didn't disappoint us placing 2nd in his class. Laragh first time out on him never mind jumping derby fences. 🥈👏

Hugo next with a nice dressage sadly one pole down moving them to 4th but very happy with him and how he's settling on every outting.🏅,👏

Willow next just having an easy run to make sure her confidence is back after her fall with Chloe a week ago. And she is definitely not nervous and galloped around clear to take home the red ribbon.🥇👏

We had some fresh boys with their first outing of the year today but they didn't disappoint us.

Swayzee first DI show taking home a 69%+ in the preliminary and red ribbon.🏆🥇 Great to have his owner on site to watch him.❤️

Buī and Laragh placed 2nd in both elementary class. 🥈🥈

Dandy did two high end medium tests and he wanted to show off his flying changes which where not needed so our % wasn't great but delighted with him trying so hard placing 2nd🥈

Dali also in flying from today showing off way too much placed 2nd in both medium tests.🥈🥈

Delighted with all these horses development, great to get first show of the season done.
