Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Sligo University Hospital. Geraldine, predeceased by her beloved husband Billy. Loving mother of Julie, Gary, Michelle and Chris, dear grandmother of Naoimh, Erin, Casimir, Emmet, Cormac, Jack and Leo and great grandmother of Alex. She will be sadly missed by her daughters, sons, grandchildren, great grandson, sons-in-law Bill Fox and JP Foster, daughters-in-law Hayley and Ann Marie Burns, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at The Foley and McGowan Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo on Tuesday evening from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. Funeral will arrive to The Cathedral of The Immaculate Conception, Sligo for Requiem Mass on Wednesday morning at 11:30am with funeral proceeding to Sligo Cemetery for burial after.

wish to thank most sincerely all who sympathised with them in their recent sad loss.

Thanks to all who sent Mass cards and messages of sympathy and to all who attended Aidan’s Repose, and Funeral.

Thanks to all the people who called to Aidan and Dolores’ home throughout the funeral and also a special thank you to our wonderful neighbours and friends for all of their support.
A special word of thanks to the Staff in the Oncology Unit, Sligo University Hospital and a special mention to the palliative care team
for their care of Aidan and their endless support.

Thanks to David and Bríd McGowan and the staff at The Foley and Mc Gowan’s funeral home, Market yard for their great care and professionalism throughout the funeral.

Thanks also to Fr. Declan Boyce for his lovely mass and spiritual comfort and to Michele Feeney for the beautiful music during the funeral mass.

We hope this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our gratitude and appreciation to all concerned.
