Hi all at South East Technological University join us for SETU Centre for Technology-Enhanced Learning end-of-year Community of Practice event on Tuesday June 18th, hosted in Season's Restaurant in the Tourism & Leisure (T&L) Building, Cork Rd Campus, Waterford from 09:30 - 13:00.

This year’s theme focuses on making connections through accessibility, design, and Generative AI. Practitioners, students and educators from across SETU will share their experiences in designing accessible blended education solutions, creating short, focused courses, and successfully integrating GenAI in the classroom.

Don't miss this opportunity to learn, connect, and enhance your practice while engaging with colleagues over tea and coffee before the summer break!

Our next TEL Community of Practice event “Micro-credentials: Design & Impact” takes place at 1pm on Wednesday, January 24th.

Micro-credentials are becoming increasingly popular in higher education backed by both European and national policy. They are short, focused, accessible and accredited courses designed to meet the demand of learners, enterprise and organisations. As they become increasingly integrated into university curricula, the importance of design becomes more evident. Neill Wylie from CTEL will discuss the following topics.

* What does the Irish landscape look like for micro-credentials?
* How can we leverage design to have the greatest impact?
* What design frameworks are best suited to micro-credential design?
