Our Turkeys will be the same as always with a Bronze Irish Free Range Turkey approximately 14lb-16lb in weight, and our Boneless Crowns approximately 6lbs in weight. Boneless Crowns also available in Half (approximately 3lbs)

We are currently in unprecedented times. Spiralling energy costs, costs of running our farm and a recent announcement to increase our rates by an additional 5%. A lot of hurdles to get over but we don't plan on letting anything trip us up.

We'd like to thank all our customers for their continued support. We are, as we have always been, committed to providing the highest level produce and service to our customers while still being at a highly competitive price.

Here are our fantastic large hams. All expertly cured so there's no need to steep overnight or change any water. Just place in cold water, bring to the boil and cook at a nice simmer . Cured to perfection right here in our shop. These hams are perfect to boil or roast in the oven. You can enjoy the leftovers and make a ham blaa with whatever you dont use right away.

All hams are 2 &1/2 lbs approx and great value at just €9.90 each

One of my favourite things about being a butcher is seeing when someone really does a fantastic job of the meat we take so much care to get ready.

Here's 2 T bone steaks from an order last week, and oh do they look absolutely amazing!

Back in stock for the Summer are out fantastic BBQ sausages.

Made with the same recipe as our traditional 100% Irish pork sausage. However these sausages are much larger with a dusting of BBQ dry rub.

Perfect for a BBQ, but they can be cooked the same way as a normal sausage too. We can guarantee these are tasty sausages.....but we can't guarantee the weather to BBQ them outside 🤣

With our family farm located just outside the city we consider it such a privilege to be able to provide the city with a top of the line local product.

During the last year and a half I think we've all learned how beautiful our county is and how much is has to offer. Our beaches, mountains, greenways & everything in between. If you get a good sunny summers day here there's no shortage of things to do.

Being a part of local business community is also such a pleasure. Seeing all the small and family run businesses innovating and thriving during such a difficult recent time has really shown that Waterford will always be a place to prosper!

This weekend we have our fantastic Gigot Lamb Chops at a very special price.

Oven roasted with rosemary and garlic is a personal favourite way I like to cook these chops.

This weekend we have our delicious b***d and rolled back bacon's at a very special price.

All cured right here in our shop, by hand, with our very own mix. Meaning there's no need to steep these bacon's overnight or change the water. Simmer with some apple or roast in the oven. These bacon's are guaranteed to be a treat this weekend.

All our bacon's are priced at €6.75 this weekend.

Our shop has been in this location for generations. There's knives here that are older than me. It's such a unique feeling to know there's so much history here. Every now and again something will pop up that really reminds me about that.

Here's a receipt for a "A. Grant" from 1957 for bacon and smoked bacon. My grandfather, who I wasn't lucky enough to ever meet, probably would have wrote this. I wonder if he knew that 64 years later his grandson would be putting this picture on Facebook 🤣

Our fresh 100% Irish Pork steaks, also known as Pork Tenderloin. A very lean and tender cut of pork, ideal to roast in a piece as is. But we are happy to prepare your pork steak however you please. Butterflied for stuffing, for a delicious roast dinner. Cut into medallions to be pan fired. Or diced into strips for a stir fry.

Whatever you deiced to cook we can guarantee you won't be disappointed with one of our delicious pork steaks

We have a full stock of burgers all freshly made in shop by hand. We recommend using some fresh blaas as a burger bun, crusty or soft, we'll leave that up to you!

If you're looking for a real showstopper piece to BBQ then you should try our beef brisket. Available on and off the bone. This cut is famous for being an ideal BBQ piece. It needs to be cook slowly, so it takes a bit more work then grilling burgers. But when it's done it's an absolute amazing, juicy, bursting with flavor and fork tender piece of beef!

With the summer weather, hopefully, on its way to us, we've expanded our range of BBQ items.

We have our jumbo BBQ sausages in stock. Made with the same recipe as our traditional sausage, just with some added BBQ s**ces. These sausages are a perfect size for the BBQ grill

We also have our beef brisket in stock. All from our very own grass rared beef. Perfect for anyone who's spent lockdown watching one of the Netflix BBQ competition series and wants to try their own hand at it.

Our 1/4lb burgers are always a ideal BBQ treat. Every single burger is made by hand here in our own shop. We have beef, chicken and lamb burgers. Each one with a unique blend of s**ces to compliment the different meats. Our lamb burgers are also gluten free.

Now we just have to wait for a good sunny weekend!

It is with deep sorrow and heartache we are giving notice of the passing of our beloved Robert "Bobby" Flynn

Bobby was a huge part of our business here in the shop, then in time went onto establish a meat supply business, being awarded European Accolades for outstanding quality.

A truly remarkable man with a larger than life character and a generousity to match. He will be sadly missed by all our family.

We will be closing the shop on Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th and will reopen on Friday the 19th
