Taking a few minutes off from our Saturday morning games to celebrate the first anniversary of our pickleball club in Lecanvey. It has been a great year learning new skills, making new friends and enjoying a great new game. We are grateful for the help of Ray McNamara from , Helen and Michael from Donegal Town Pickleball Club, Tom and Debbie from and of course the management committee of who have been so supportive since we began. To all our members, congratulations. Here’s to another enjoyable year ahead🥂

Meath LSP are delighted to announce a new sport that is available for older adults! The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn!

Taking place on Wed 8th February at 11am in Athboy Convent Community centre!

◾ A fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong.
◾ Played both indoors or outdoors on a badminton-sized court and a slightly modified tennis net.
◾ Played with a paddle and a plastic ball.
◾ Played as doubles or singles.
◾ Can be enjoyed by all ages and skill levels.

Pickleball Ireland Coaching in Westport. Several months after our first visit to Westport it was great to see such an improvement in standard of play. On this visit we worked with everyone to help fine tune their skills. Well done Mayo Sports Partnership for your support.

No pickleball in Lecanvey for the next week due to the hall being used for School Christmas concerts. Hopefully we will get back to it very soon. Happy Christmas everyone 🎄

Last pickleball session in Rice Collège,Westport till January 9. Some great games and Sean treated us to some delicious mince pies. Have a very happy Christmas all. Maybe Santa will have a nice paddle in his sack for you, you never know!
