July Course 2024 is officially done their course and onto the volunteering portion of the program.

Advanced Course 2024 🥳
They worked really hard to get here but now they volunteer on ICU ambulances across the country.
While it is a small group of people, they're from many places around the world. We've got British, Canadian, German, and American participants!

One of the special things about the MDA overseas participants volunteering there is...

They're from many different countries all over the world!!
France, Hungary and the United States 🌏

When it fully opened for business, the blood bank was providing the Israeli people and army with the blood they need to survive and thrive. Today we got to see the operation firsthand, what a special opportunity! 🩸❤️

In addition over 20 of our June participants were able to aid the operation by donating their blood and continuing to do their part for the people of Israel 🇮🇱

Jerusalem station represents 🇮🇱✨️

MDA overseas offers placements all over the country and these Jerusalem volunteers are having lots of fun and working hard 👏

Welcome June Basic course 2024 🥳

MDA Chul May course steps out!
On Sunday May course participants went to the blood bank and the dispatch center. They got to learn about the different projects included in the blood bank, including the milk bank. 🩸

Women donate their milk to babies born prematurely, babies who's mother's milk supply has been affected by the war, and many other babies. 🍼

Each woman who donates gets a star on the wall with their name on it and the MDA overseas participants got the honor of putting up stars of women who just started donating!

To wrap it up...
They worked hard, they practiced hard and they did amazing 👏 now they're off to the ambulances.

Week one recap
The participants met with Yonatan Yagodovsky the Director or the International Department at MDA. They discussed the essence of what we do here at MDA. Then they met with Israel Papa, the newly instated Director of the MDA overseas program! Welcome Israel 🥳

Learning:
The participants studied everything from physical anatomy to CPR in an EMS team.
Practice practice practice - by the end of the week they could do compressions in their sleep.

May course 2024 🥳
Day one (Wednesday the 15th of May) started with registration and learning but ended with a celebration of the 76th birthday of Israel 🇮🇱
Nothing like falafel, pita, and hummus to start a MDA chul course off right🥙
