In honor the recent return of some of the Western Negev residents to their homes, our volunteers, together with the The fund fir victims terror of the Jewish Agency, came to meet the families that returned and give them Mishloach Manot for Purim.
The volunteers gave over 600 Mishlochim to families and children from: Mavkiim, Or Haner and Shlomit.
The three communities that recently returned to their homes are celebrating Purim this week while returning to normalcy, and the volunteers came to sweeten their return, hug, listen and rejoice with them.
We heard the stories from that horrible Saturday of October 7th, about their freinds that were killed and their heroes. We hope we gave them some strength and support to face the upcoming challenges that await them.
Thank you, to the Jewish agency fund for victims of terrorism that helped prepare the deliveries and made sure the products were purchased only from local suppliers and packed in the visitors center of Nahal Oz. With all income transferred to the Kibbutz and rehabilitation of the vilages.
Thank you to the members of the American Zionist Movement AZM that generously donated for this operation and have been with us the entire time

Congratulations to the Jewish Agency's Fund for Victims of Terror on winning the prestigious Genesis Prize for their work on behalf of the families of the abducted!

With the outbreak of the war, the Spirit of Israel immediately mobilized and joined the fund, along with thousands of donors and volunteers.

Since October 7th, the fund has been assisting thousands of families of terror victims whose loved ones have been murdered or kidnapped and who are experiencing loss, pain, and trauma.

We are proud of the women on the staff who work day and night for the families, and we are happy with them for winning and recognizing their important work.

The cruel and unbearable attack from the Hamas terror organization on Israel south border has left us with hundreds of casualties and thousands of injuries. Families with no homes, refugees in their own country are struggling with physical and emotional stress. The generosity of the civil society in Israel is a ray of light in this chaos. We ask for your support to keep the light.

🌟 Wings of the Israeli Spirit 🌟

Last week, we had the incredible opportunity to host a special event that aimed to strengthen the partnership for our courageous lone immigrant soldiers in the Wings program, run by the Jewish Agency.

It was a truly inspiring experience to personally meet these remarkable soldiers who arrived in Israel on their own and now serve in elite units. They shared their stories with us, highlighting the vital role that support, companionship, and psychological assistance play in their lives during times of crisis.

We are immensely grateful to everyone who made this event possible. A special shout-out goes to the Fortissimo Capital for their generous contribution, making this occasion even more extraordinary. 🥂 Additionally, we want to express our heartfelt appreciation to the dedicated Wings team, who work tirelessly 24/7 to support these young immigrants.

If you would like to make a difference and join us in helping these brave lone immigrant soldiers, please reach out to us at 03-7628490, 052-6130878.

Together, we can continue to uplift the spirits and provide essential support for these incredible individuals.

With gratitude,

🎆 Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸

We want to extend our warmest wishes to our friends across the ocean on this special day. The 4th of July, Independence Day, marks a significant moment in American history, symbolizing freedom, unity, and the pursuit of happiness.

It's a day to come together, celebrate our shared values, and honor the courage and sacrifices that have shaped both nations.

On this occasion, let us remember the deep bond between Israel and the United States, rooted in shared democratic principles and a commitment to freedom. As we light up the sky with fireworks, let us also remember the shared pursuit of a better future, where liberty and justice prevail.

May this 4th of July be filled with joy, laughter, and cherished moments with loved ones. Let us reflect on the incredible journey of both nations and the enduring spirit that continues to drive us forward.

The Spirit of Israel is Wishing You all a happy Shavuot!

May your Shavuot be filled with blessings, joy, and a fresh appreciation for the marvels of nature, the pursuit of knowledge, and the strength of the community.

Shavuot is a significant Jewish holiday celebrated after Passover. Here are some additional facts and information about this important day:

Shavuot means "weeks" in Hebrew, and it falls exactly seven weeks after the first day of Passover. In biblical times, it was a festival to mark the end of the grain harvest, and it later became associated with the giving of the Torah at Mount Sinai.

Dairy consumption is a popular tradition during Shavuot, and many people enjoy dishes such as cheesecake, blintzes, and other dairy-based foods. This custom is said to commemorate the Torah, which is often compared to nourishing milk.

In addition to its agricultural and religious roots, Shavuot is also celebrated as a Festival of Flowers in some countries. Communities may decorate their homes and synagogues with floral displays, and it's also common to wear white clothing and decorate with greenery.

The Book of Ruth, one of the five Megillot (scrolls) in the Hebrew Bible, is traditionally read during Shavuot. This story of loyalty and kindness is believed to embody the values of the holiday, which include gratitude, generosity, and community.

Shalom to all our friends and supporters!

Today, we celebrate Israeli Independence Day or Yom Ha'atzmaut, the day when we declared our independence and established our homeland. This year marks the 75th anniversary of our beloved country, and we couldn't be prouder to be part of the vibrant and diverse Israeli society.

Despite the challenges we have faced over the years, Israel has flourished into a thriving nation that is known for its innovation, culture, and resilience. From the Negev desert to the bustling cities, our land is rich with history, tradition, and hope for the future.

On this special day, we honor the brave men and women who fought for our freedom and sacrificed their lives for our country. We also remember the victims of terror and stand in solidarity with their families, vowing to never give up on our pursuit of peace and security.

As we celebrate this milestone anniversary, let us reflect on the values that have brought us here and recommit ourselves to the principles of democracy, equality, and justice for all. May our flag always fly high and may our nation continue to prosper and shine as a light unto the nations.

Am Yisrael Chai!

YIZKOR

As we prepare to welcome the Israeli national remembrance day "Yom H'zikaron", let us take a moment to honor and remember the brave soldiers and innocent civilians who have lost their lives in defense of our country. This day serves as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by so many for the safety and security of Israel.

As we pause to reflect, let us also pay tribute to the families of those who have fallen. Their loss is immeasurable, and their resilience and strength are an inspiration to us all.

On this day, let us come together as a community to remember and honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. May their memories be a blessing, and may we never forget their contributions to our nation.

Hello, friends! I hope you're all having a wonderful day. As the week comes to a close, I want to take a moment to wish everyone a peaceful Shabbat.

For those who celebrate, Shabbat is a special time to disconnect from the chaos of daily life and connect with our loved ones and faith. It's a time to reflect on all the good things in our lives and appreciate the blessings we have.

In the spirit of giving and gratitude, I want to suggest that you consider making a donation to the Spirit of Israel, a nonprofit organization that works to support communities and people in Israel. With your contribution, you can help provide essential resources to those who need them the most, such as at-risk youth, new immigrants, and vulnerable populations.

Let's use this Shabbat as a chance to give back and make a positive impact in the world. Thank you for considering this opportunity, and I wish you all a restful and happy Shabbat!

As the sun sets tonight, we begin Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day. This day is a time to honor the memory of the six million Jews who perished during the Holocaust, as well as the bravery of those who fought back against the N**i regime.

On this solemn day, we come together as a community to remember and reflect on the atrocities that occurred during one of the darkest periods in human history. We vow to never forget the victims, their stories, and the lessons of the Holocaust.

May the memory of those who were lost during the Holocaust always be a blessing, and may we continue to work towards a world where such atrocities never occur again.

Join us in honoring the victims and survivors of the Holocaust on this Yom HaShoah.
