PC to take questions on budget on Google+ Hangout

In an internet-based move to bring Budget 2013-14 to the people, Finance Minister P Chidambaram will take questions on its proposals Monday on a multi-party online video conference on Google+ Hangout.

He will be joined by a select group of panellists including Jahangir Aziz, senior Asia economist and India chief economist at JP Morgan; Anand Mahindra, CMD Mahindra & Mahindra; Amit Singhal, senior vice-president, Google Inc. and Manish Chokhani, CEO, Axis Capital.

Citizens can submit their questions before the hangout by uploading a video, by commenting on the YouTube channel or through the Google India Page and tagging text or a video with the hashtag , the ministry said.
