World stroke day was observed at Dr Prabhjeet's neurocentre on 29th of october..Stroke also known as brain attack is one of the leading causes of mortality and morbidity hence the need to raise more awareness regarding this condition..it has a devastating effect not only on the suffering individual but his or her family as a whole. dr prabhjeet talked about the signs and symptoms of stroke..we need to be aware of these signs like FAST i.e. drooping of Face to one side, Arm or Leg waeakness, Speech difficulty and the need to REACH IN TIME.....Some of strokes are preventable and treatable if we reach a stroke treatment centre ON TIME.....So Be aware and save yourself and your loved ones from STROKE....

An awareness walk and talk was organised at Dr Prabhjeet ' s neurocentre on account of world parkinson's day. parkinson's disease is characterised by tremors , slowness and rigidity in body...its a chronic disease requiring regular treatment and regular followups..dr prabhjeet , chief neurophysician delivered an informative talk on this disease..dr neerja arora and psychologist also delivered motivational lectures to patients and their caregivers

Today is world Parkinson's disease day.. parkinson's disease is characterised by slowness of gait , tremors , difficulty in walking especially in initiation of walk, freezing episodes..To support these patients and create better understanding towards this disease and its treatment we are conducting an awareness walk followed by awareness talk by eminent neurophysician Dr Prabhjeet singh .

Today is international epilepsy day..want to highlight that need of hour is to break the stigma attached to epilepsy and come forward for its treatment..today saw a patient taking some desi treatment for last 7 years without any relief. Just because of stigma of this disease they were not taking any rationale treatment..we appeal to society to take epilepsy as just any other disease and break the stigma ..
