By 2025, the World Health Organization predicts that two-thirds of all disease worldwide will be the result of lifestyle choices. Currently, 50 percent of Westerners live with one or more chronic illness such as diabetes and hypertension, conditions in which diet and exercise play a key role. Moreover, cancer cases are expected to increase exponentially, one in three people will be affected by cancer in the next five years against the current data of one in twenty.

Healthcare professionals are uniquely positioned to stem the tide of chronic disease through patient education.

However, in order to provide truly beneficial patient education, our physicians must understand the vital roles of lifestyle medicine: nutrition, exercise, stress managment, relationship, sleep, addictions and other lifestyle interventions play in preventing, treating and managing disease. This can be a challenge as today’s medical school curriculum rarely includes lifestyle medicine education.

Jhonson Robert University provides health care professionals with a Ministry-accredited master's degree in lifestyle medicine. The master is delivered in three languages: English, French and from January 2023 it will be delivered in Italian. World famous professors led by Robert Jhonson. Questa è la logica dei “Lifestyle Center” che, per molti anni, si è rivelata di successo. Il primo centro di medicina dello stile di vita nasce nel 1996 negli Stati Uniti, a San Diego – California, dal sogno e desiderio di un biologo, Robert Jhonson, di promuovere la vita ed il benessere dell’uomo a 360 gradi. Oggi questo sogno è una realtà in vari parti del globo non solo in Italia o USA.
