"Camp is where students can learn about themselves, face fears, try new things, push their boundaries, and accept themselves."

The weeklong summer camp organized by Delhi Public School, Budaun, from May 21st to May 30th, 2024, culminated in a vibrant closing ceremony on May 31st, 2024. The camp aimed to nurture and nourish the young and tiny tots in a fun and frolicsome way.

The closing ceremony began with a warm welcome note from our honourable Principal Ma'am. The event was graced by Shri Amit Kumar Srivastava, SP City, Budaun, as the chief guest, and Dr. Rubi, wife of ADM FR Dr. Vaibhav Kumar, as our guest of honour, along with Additional District Judge Mrs. Rekha.

The school's Manager, Mrs. Jyoti Bharti, displayed intelligent foresightedness in providing a unique platform for the students at a suitable venue. This initiative allowed students to utilize their summer vacations brilliantly and sharpen their hidden talents in extracurricular activities. Our director, Mr. Vivek Bharti, lauded the school for its achievements in such a short time and praised the children for their competitive spirit in various activities. Following this, our Finance Director, Mr. Ashish Saxena, congratulated the DPS family on the success of the Summer Camp. Ms. Pooja Saxena and Samridhi Saxena also graced the event with their presence.

During the camp, students from Classes I-VIII engaged in a plethora of activities, including craft, culinary skills, dance, music, Kathak, Zumba, and skating. They showcased their creations and talents through captivating performances, displaying art and craftwork. A cultural bonanza was organized, where students presented eye-catching performances that enthralled the audience. The camp encouraged students to develop their latent skills and talents, with enthusiastic participation from all.

Highlights included a fusion dance that captivated onlookers and a marvelous play by the Theatre group. The Zumba and folk dance performances were mesmerizing. A live coding event showcased students' skills in animations, Python, and website creation. Active participants in the camp were appreciated, and special prizes were awarded to our toppers.

Our honourable Principal Ma'am delivered an inspiring speech, noting that the camp was truly unforgettable. She encouraged children to continue working hard, staying happy, and remaining healthy.

Thus, the Summer Camp successfully came to a frolicking end.

Day 7 of our summer camp was filled with excitement and anticipation as we moved closer to the grand finale. Students continued with their group rehearsals, perfecting their performances for the big day. They also enjoyed activities like karate, pottery, poetry writing, dance, and science projects. The spirit of learning and camaraderie was evident as everyone worked together to make the final day spectacular.

Day 6 of our summer camp was an exciting blend of learning and preparation for the final day performance. Students participated in group rehearsals, honing their acts and performances to perfection. Alongside, they enjoyed activities like swimming, arts and crafts, storytelling, coding, and fitness sessions. The energy and enthusiasm were palpable as everyone geared up for the grand finale.

The students of Class 11 from Delhi Public School, Budaun have once again brought distinction to the school with their stellar performances. At the Two Day Model United Nations Conference held at Delhi Public School, Bareilly on the 25th and 26th of May, 2024, Ms. Yogita was honored with the title of Influential Orator as the UNDP Committee representative of France, and Ms. Jyotika earned a Special Verbal Mention as the UNECOSOC Committee representative of Greece.

Other distinguished participants from our school included Avika Vaish, Jhanak Rastogi, Saransha Bhardwaj, Siddhi, Ansi Mishra, Vanshika Yadav, Aruba Siddiqi, Dhruv Rana, Suhani Singh, and A***n Yadav, all of whom exhibited exceptional dedication and acumen.

Stepping Towards Excellence - Summer Camp Day 4 🚀🌞

Our summer camp continues to inspire and empower our students, helping them grow in all aspects. Today's activities included basketball, badminton, dance, music, robotics, and creative writing. Our students are not only learning new skills but also building lasting memories and friendships.

If we were to describe our summer camp in two lines:
'Step out in the sun, bathe in the clouds,
Experience life by setting aside the books.'

In our summer camp, the lessons learned on the field are lived experiences. Here, the determination to win transforms into courage, and the efforts of those who sometimes stumble only strengthen their resolve. These minor pains don't hinder but rather ignite a passion.

On the third day, our students participated in kabaddi, kho-kho, volleyball, football, carrom, chess, drama, Bharatanatyam, Kathak, animation, coding, and web development according to their interests, honing their personalities.
