I would like to expose a situation. If your children (or grandchildren) don’t learn to play with children with special needs at school, maybe you should spend 10 minutes tonight explaining it to them. Because, although they don't currently live with these children at school, they will find them in their lives for sure.
In light of recent events regarding the exclusion of a child with autism from attending a school trip and a child with Down Syndrome being expelled from dance class because she couldn't keep up with it, I feel the need to share this. There are boys and girls that no one invites to birthday parties. There are special children who want to be part of a team but are not selected because it's more important to win than to include these children. Kids with special needs aren't weird, they just want what everyone wants: to be accepted!
Can I ask a question? Is there anyone willing to copy and paste this post on their wall without sharing it, like I did, for all the special children out there?
Please teach your children to be kind to these beautiful children!

Stress vs de-stress - An encounter.

Much relieved to have tested "Negative" upon medical protocols following Acute back pain that was stretching for months, on the other hand Doctor orally conferred "STRESS" may be the root cause for the condition.

With key words in place , it was time to ponder upon.
How come I have slowly injected "stress" in me and would that have reflected in health.

Pains subsided upon test results, seemed to be a proof for stress due to fear! A piece of information, though I don't remember its whereabouts is, for Early humans, wild animals were a stress triggering factor and running for life was a stress nullifier for them. Coincidentally a big star in his movie depicted, practicing any physical activity to de- stress, endorsing the same!

Now moving on to proposed Assertions, Reasons and Remedies

Stress is inevitable.When Man started to substitute machines to run on his behalf increasing his brain ability at the cost of physical activity, stress had infinite reasons to take the front seat.

Negative thoughts, fear, anger, releases stress harmones, which actuates muscle tense and leads to neck, back and shoulder pains and in due course is a slow inducer for many other health complications.

Remedies are engaging in physical activity at frequent intervals that paves a great way in nullifying stress by secreting positive harmones.
Fortunately they are free of cost, and for the good rhythm, the mind that very often forgets the purpose of life and throws excuses comfortably, has to be tuned. Consistency is the key.

Physical activity rejuvenates both mind and body, giving us new dimensions in thoughts and health. Time taken for the goodness of self is by itself a tonic that stimulates positive harmones.

With the right keywords # body engine is optimised.

I started with physical activity therapy. Dance, Zumba, aerobics, skipping, jumping tags, whenever my mind triggers less fuel and starts negativity. Very difficult to switch mode when stressed, but eventually got tuned. Which is far better than the pain I experienced, and felt that it is boosting both mental and physical health.

With Mantra of "One life, Happy and Healthy living" on a repeat mode, Miracles & Manoeuvres are life time partners!.

When children are our best teacher....

Its my birthday. I woke up as usual minding yet another day, but this very little Guru in disguise, reset my Mind to "My Day"

Yes...Its Abimanyu, a 7 yr old student of mine from Boston US, took a catch of my birthday date upon a casual talk during my class.
From then on he had a count down reminder and he would hint on surprises, gift and Proposal on visiting me few sessions before his India Visit.

Physical connect by chance with my online students will be on wish list, but practically chances are feeble, with limited time, hectic schedules, commitments, priorities and many more upon their India trip.

But to my very surprise the very next day upon his landing in India i got a call from Vijetha( Abi's mom) that visiting me took 1st place in his wish list.

What more could have ultimately made my day, than his visit with his parents and grand ma on MY BIRTHDAY! Had such a lovely time with them!
What a wonderful feel and privilege to have my student, who genuinely wished to only visit me without any " # tags".

Heartful thanks to the parents, who made it all the way, without minding jetlags, honouring the child's wish / me and all the more inculcating the culture of human values in their child, which is part and parcel of their upbringing alongside education..Netherless to say he is a MATH PRODIGY and every session with him is a time worth it.

As a proud teacher, today I vouch to say ( Feb 21, 2023) was the best ever Birthday and i would cherish those moments for ever.
God bless and my love to this lovable student of mine and family!
