we had a great celebration on the 13th Annual Pulicat Day.
This year, on World Wetlands Day, we celebrated with the students and fishermen of Pulicat Lagoon.

702 school students participated in the paper-based quiz. And we had kolam, dance, and chess competitions too.

The attraction was a catamaran (katumaram) race, in which two types of boats participated. The traditional wooden one and the poly-fibre boat.

Thanks for the support from the Government of Tamil Nadu's department. The help from and Police was immeasurable.

Every year, we organise tour for palm leaf handicraft weavers of Pulicat. In 2024, they went to Kanchipuram.

More than 120 fisherwomen are empowered through our palm-leaf craft promotion. We maintain Pulicat-Museum at Pazhaverkadu and organise various annual events for the inhabitants and city-dwellers.
