KUTTU ( BUCKWHEAT FLOUR)KI POORI RECIPE

Specially made during fasting days, this kuttu ki poori is so tasty and healthy apart from being gluten free.
These pooris are extremely crispy as regular pooris.
Let's know how to make it...
INGREDIENTS: 2CUP Kutty ka aata, 1 boiled potato, 1/2 sendha namak, 1 cup water
STEP 1: Take 2cup of aata Into a large deep bowl. Mash it into kuttu ka aata.
Knead it as smooth dough by adding sendha namak and required water.
Make sure it doesn't get sticky, otherwise poori wouldn't be rolled properly.
Step 2: leave the dough for few minutes.
Step 3: Now, divide the dough into equal size balls .
Sprinkle flour over the rolling board to avoid stickening of poori and roll it in a round shape using rolling pin.
Don't make it too thin
Gently slide one poori into the hot oil and deep fry it till it puff up. Fry it on both sides till golden and crisp.
Repeat the process with rest of the pooris and place it on paper towels to remove oil.

SERVE IMMEDIATELY WITH DAHI ALLOO OR OTHER FASTING FOOD.

FRUIT RAITA RECIPE

FRUIT RAITA IS A HEALTHY AND YUMMY DIP PREPAIRED BY MIXING CURD AND DICED FRESH FRUITS LIKE APPLE , PINEAPPLE ,ETC..FRUIT RAITA ,CAN BE SERVED AS ADESSERT OR AS AN ACCOMPANIMENT TO INDIAN DISHES.

CURD WHICH IS MAIN INGREDIENT IN THIS RECIPE , IS A RICH SOURCE OF CALCIUM AND GOOD FOR DIGESTIVE SYSTEM.
RAITA WITH LOT OF MIXED FRUIT IS GENERALLY FAVOURITE AMONG KIDS WHERE THEY CAN ENJOY MULTIPLE FRUIT IN A SINGLE PREPARATION.

INGREDIENTS: 1/4 CUP APPLE ,1/4 CUP BANANA 1/4 CUP PINEAPPLE, 2tbs POMEGRANATE SEEDS ,1/4 CUP STRAWBERRY, 2 CUP THICK CURD ,1/4 tbs BLACK PEPPER POWDER ,1/2 tbs ROASTED CUMIN SEEDS POWDER ,1 tbs SUGAR -SALT

STEP 1: TAKE CURD IN A BOWL , ADD SUGAR , SALT ,BLACK PEPPER POWDER , AND CUMIN SEEDS POWDER AND MIX IT UNTIL CURD BECOMES SMOOTH AND CREAMY .
STEP 2: ADD APPLE , BANANA, PINE APPLE , STRAWBERRY AND MIX IT WELL.
STEP 3: ONE OF THE EASIEST AND HEALTHY FRUIT DISHES , MIX FRUIT RAITA IS READY .

SERVE CHLLED MIX FRUIT RAITA ALONG WITH MEAL.

Cucumber Raita Recipe
Ingredients: 1kg curd, cucumber, roasted cumin seed powder, 1/2 tbs chaat Masala Powder, Salt, 2tbs Chopped Coriender, 1/2 tbs red kashmiri chili powder.

Step 1: In a bowl whip 1 cup of curd untill smooth
Step 2: Rise, peel and lastly grate medium sized cucumber
Step 3: Add the following ingredients...
* 1 tbs Roasted cumin seed powder
* 1/2 tbs chaat masala
* 1/2 red kashmiri chili powder
* Salt as per taste
Step 4:combine all the ingredients together
Step 5: Lastly add chopped coriender leaves
Step 6: Mix it again

Serve chilled cuumber raita and garnish it with coriender leaves

This recipe is a great introduction to Korean cooking. The egg rolls are healthy and quick to make and the rolling process is really fun. I made a few small changes to Sun’s original recipe by adding more vegetables and giving them a quick sauté. Chances are you already have everything you need in your refrigerator. You can use any vegetables for the filling or even no vegetables at all. I never thought a Korean dish would be my new go-to meal when I’m too lazy to go to the grocery store but I’ve made these several times in the last few days. Give it a try and I bet it will become one of your new favorites too.
