International Pediatric Dermatology Conference and Women’s Dermatology Conference

Dark Circle under Eyes

This is a problem that has many reasons like pigment deposit, dilated blood vessels due to stress, tiredness, anemia and eyesight issues. But one of the most important causes is the hollowness around eyes that causes a shadow effect and dark circles, as well tired and sad look.

This hollowness is due to volume loss, which may be due to genetic reasons or as a reult of ageing process.
Unfortunately, creams, serums, lotions or tablets cannot replace the lost volume.

Finally, the guidelines of NABH Dermatology Stand-alone Clinic Accreditation Standards have been released and the program has been rolled out.
It was my honour to be present at the glittering ceremony at NABH Patient Safety Conference held at Le Meridien, New Delhi as convenor of the IADVL NABH Committee for two years, along with Dr. Rashmi Sarkar , President IADVL 2022.

The dignitaries present at the ceremony included Mr. Jaxay Shah, Chairman- Quality Control of India (QCI), Prof Dr. Mukesh Verma, Chairman NABH, and Dr. Atul Kochhar, CEO NABH

Kudos to the vision of Dr. Rashmi Sarkar and the support of Dr. Vijay Zawar, President IADVL 2023 as well as Dr. Atul Mohan Kochhar, CEO NABH.
