Day 7: The week-long Cultural & Academic Exchange Program reached its grand finale with vibrant performances and heartfelt farewells, marking the end of an unforgettable chapter and the beginning of new adventures!

The Indian teachers dazzled the audience with a mesmerizing dance showcasing Unity in Diversity, featuring captivating routines from Kashmiri, Assamese, Gujarati, Bharatnatyam, and Bhangra traditions, filling the auditorium with cheers and applause. Madam Principal Dr. Alka Kapur was honored with a Bulbul souvenir, symbolizing gratitude and friendship.

The Flash Mob at Evrika Lycei School brought the house down with high energy and dynamic moves, igniting a sense of accomplishment and unity among all participants. The VR tour of India immersed students in a virtual journey to iconic landmarks, blending technology with historical education for an engaging learning experience.

This exchange program not only promoted mutual respect and expanded horizons but also created cherished memories to last a lifetime. A truly unforgettable tour that will be forever etched in the history of Evrika Lycei and Modern Public School. Long live our friendship!

Day 6 of the Cultural and Academic Exchange Program between Modern Public School in Delhi and Evrika Lycei School in Baku was a day filled with enriching experiences and heartwarming interactions. The teachers from Modern Public School continued their collaborative efforts with the learners of Evrika Lycei School, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of each other's cultures.

It was a great honour for to be invited by The International Montessori Center, where the Director, Ms. Hasanova Elnara, extended a gracious welcome. The traditional lighting of the lamp in the ceremony where parents were invited set a spiritual tone, and the young students dazzled everyone with their talent and adorable performances.

The team then explored the historical wonders of Heydar Aliyev Centre, Old City & Nizami Street delving into the rich heritage of the city.

In the evening, the Indian teachers were treated to a feast of delicious Azerbaijani cuisine at Sirvansah Musey Restaurant, showcasing the spirit of hospitality and friendship. Laughter filled the air as educators from both schools let loose and danced to old Hindi tunes, forging bonds beyond borders.

A moment of pride and joy came when the students of Evrika demonstrated their knowledge of the Prime Minister of India, reflecting the global recognition of India's significant contributions to the world. The word "Namaskar" reverberated throughout the school, symbolizing the deep respect and admiration for Indian culture.

Each day of the exchange program brought forth a stronger cultural exchange, bridging distances and uniting hearts in a celebration of diversity and friendship. The journey of learning and mutual understanding continues to blossom, leaving a lasting impact on all involved.

Day 5 Report of Cultural & Academic Exchange Program

On day 5 of the cultural and academic exchange program between Modern Public School in Delhi and Evrika Lycei School in Baku, the teachers of Modern Public School had another brilliant and wonderful day of interaction and bonding with the learners of Evrika Lycei School.

The day began with our teachers taking classes and engaging in insightful discussions with the teachers of Evrika Lycei School. It was a great opportunity for knowledge exchange and collaboration between the educators from both institutions.

One of the highlights of the day was a meeting with the Director of a renowned IB School, who expressed keen interest in signing an MOU with our school for a potential exchange program with their IB School. This promising collaboration opens up exciting opportunities for both schools to enhance their educational offerings.

The day concluded on a festive note, as everyone enjoyed a delicious meal at Masala Junction, a popular Indian restaurant in Baku. Laughter and joy filled the air as teachers from both schools danced and bonded over the shared experience.

The warmth and hospitality combined with the enriching interactions with Evrika Lycei School, have left a lasting impression on the teachers of Modern Public School. We are grateful for the friendships formed and the invaluable experiences gained during our time in Baku.

In conclusion, we can proudly say, "WE ❤️ BAKU & WE ❤️ EVRIKA LYCEI SCHOOL" as we look forward to continued collaboration and mutual learning in the future.

Day 4 Report: Academic & Cultural Exchange Program

The academic exchange program continued to be fruitful, with teachers from both schools observing and teaching sessions. Best teaching practices were actively exchanged between the educators. Discussions between the heads of the two schools revealed similarities and differences in the autonomy provided to private schools by their respective governments.

The primary school's art department presented an amazing art exhibition, leaving the Indian delegation mesmerized. The students had the opportunity to interact with the young artists behind the impressive artworks. The Azerbaijani school presented the Indian delegation with beautiful gifts, which were viewed as an honor. A painting was specially presented to me as a gesture of appreciation. The performing arts department of the Azerbaijani school then organized a cultural program, where the Indian delegation interacted with the student performers and their parents.

The team from Modern Public School is having a wonderful and enriching experience, learning from the diverse perspectives and practices at Evrika Lyceum. Overall, the fourth day of the exchange program was filled with engaging academic discussions and deep cultural immersion, further strengthening the ties between the two schools.

Academic & Cultural Exchange Program Report: Day 3

The third day of the academic and cultural exchange program between MODERN PUBLIC SCHOOL (MPS) from India and Evrika Lyceum SCHOOL in Azerbaijan was marked by a warm and enthusiastic welcome from the host school in Baku.

Upon arrival at EVRIKA LYCEUM SCHOOL, the Indian delegates from MPS were greeted with an overwhelming welcome. The welcoming ceremony featured a Bollywood song performance of "तुने मारी ऐनटरी यार दिल में बजी घंटी" and traditional as well as Bollywood dance performances by the students of the host school. The day began with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony with the chanting of shlokas conducted by the team of MODERN PUBLIC SCHOOL. The exchange of gifts between the two schools further symbolized the spirit of cultural exchange. The ceremony concluded with the rendition of both countries' national anthems.

This was followed by a sumptuous Azerbaijani lunch served to the visiting Indian delegates, featuring a wide array of delectable dishes that delighted the senses and offered a taste of Azerbaijani cuisine. An exceptional gesture that touched the hearts of the MPS delegates was the principal of EVRIKA LYCEUM SCHOOL, Ms. Ofeliya Muradova, vacating her office and conference room for their use during the stay in Azerbaijan. This act of hospitality and respect left the MPS team feeling deeply honored.

The photos captured during the day's events serve as evidence of the warm reception and honor extended to the Indian delegates by the host school in Baku. The cultural exchange program continues to foster mutual understanding and appreciation between MODERN PUBLIC SCHOOL and EVRIKA LYCEUM SCHOOL, creating lasting memories and strengthening bonds between the staff of both institutions.

In the end, we would say, east or west, Baku is the best.
