भारतीय संविधान में श्रमिकों की रक्षा के लिए कई प्रावधान हैं। कुछ महत्वपूर्ण प्रावधान निम्नलिखित हैं:
मजदूरों के अधिकार: संविधान के 19(1)(c) अनुच्छेद में नागरिकों को स्वतंत्र रूप से अपने व्यवसाय का चयन करने और अपने काम में स्वतंत्र रूप से लगने का अधिकार होता है।
श्रम का अधिकार: संविधान के 23 अनुच्छेद में, हर नागरिक को न्याय के साथ समान श्रमिक वेतन और समान वेतन के बराबर काम करने का अधिकार होता है।
श्रम के संरक्षण: संविधान के 24 अनुच्छेद में, बच्चों, युवाओं और महिलाओं की श्रम संरक्षा के लिए विशेष प्रावधान हैं। इसके अलावा, श्रम के संरक्षण के लिए बनाए गए नियमों और विधियों का पालन किया जाना चाहिए।
समान वेतन और वेतन विवाद: संविधान के 39 अनुच्छेद में, न्याय के साथ समान वेतन देने का अधिकार होता है और संविधान के 32 अनुच्छेद में, वेतन विवादों के न्यायपालिका में निस्तारण के लिए विशेष प्रावधान होते हैं।
