This National Girl Child Day, let us celebrate the success of Asha Choudhary, a young entrepreneur from Govindgarh, Rajasthan.

Project Manzil community motivator supported her in enrolling in a three-month course at a Skill Development Center. After completing the course, Asha successfully trained her sister, who works alongside her in stitching outfits.

Through the years, Manzil has supported 9,500 young girls from rural Rajasthan in getting employed. Let's applaud these girls who have stepped outside their comfort zones and reached new heights.

Project Manzil is commencing employability skills training for girls in rural Rajasthan, aiming to equip them with the necessary skills for employment. Over the next three months, 400 girls will undergo training to become job-ready.

Mr. Anil Bansal, Senior Director, Urban Reforms & Infrastructure, participated as one of the panellists in a dynamic discussion on “Empowering Change: Role of Corporate and Non-Profit in advancing Circularity in Municipal Solid Waste Sector" in the 7th edition of the FICCI Circular Economy Symposium.

Mr. Bansal highlighted the contribution of municipal bodies, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), and corporations within the waste management value chain and urged for increased support from the private sector. He also pointed out the need of the travel and hospitality industry, benefitting significantly from the tourist influx, to actively participate in responsible waste management alongside municipal bodies to build an innovative ecosystem for development.
