Ginger Nutrition

Most of the benefits derived from ginger are because of the presence of an active constituent called gingerol in it. It is also rich in carbohydrates, dietary fiber, and protein. In terms of minerals, it has sodium, iron, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, and zinc. Vitamins in it include vitamin C, folate, vitamin B6, riboflavin, and niacin.

There are many anti-inflammatory and antioxidant compounds like pantothenic acid, beta-carotene, capsaicin, curcumin, caffeic acid, and salicylate in it. Also, the presence of active compounds like shogaol, zerumbone, terpenoids, flavonoids, paradol, and zingerone in ginger provide many health benefits.

Salt and high blood pressure

Less salt or more of the salt in the food affects the taste of the food completely. if we eat more or less of salt in the food then its direct effect falls on our health. If the quantity of salt is high in the diet then it can be a problem of high blood pressure.
if we consume more salt, then uric acid increases in the body, as well as urination of urine in urine too. Arteries also damage. Sodium consumption in the body increases with the addition of more salt. For all these reasons, there is a high blood pressure problem in the body.

Salt controls the amount of water in the body and if we consume more salt then the water stored in the body increases our blood pressure. Therefore, reducing the amount of salt in the food is an easy and proper solution to balance high blood pressure. If you consume excess amounts of sodium, then you may be more likely to get hypertension 21 percent more than those who take less sodium. However, it has also been observed that high blood pressure is not only more salt but less potassium is also a cause.

The problem of hypertension occurs mainly after the age of thirty and thirty five. Most people have high blood pressure problems for genetic reasons, but 30 percent of people with high blood pressure are more likely to eat more salt. Humans should not eat more than 6 grams of salt in one day, but it is better to consume less amounts than for health. If you start eating less salt then you may start to change the taste of food, but after some time you will start enjoying this meal so that you can take care of your health along with taste.

How to Use Low Salt
1. If there is less salt in the food then eat lemon juice and eat it. Apart from this, you can also use low sodium salt, but before using this salt make sure the doctor's opinion.
2. Taste your food differently from different spices so that you do not feel the lack of salt. Pouring of mint, coriander etc. reduce the effect of salt, so you can use them in the food.
3. Packed and canned food contains too much salt, such as chips, pickles, biscuits etc. Besides, the quantity of salt in junk food is very high. Eat less or less of market food or packed food. Keep away from things like papad, chips, sauces, pickles, math etc. However, it does not mean that they should not eat these items at all. Occasionally there is no harm in the consumption of such items.
