School of International Cooperation, Security and Strategic Languages (SICSSL), Rashtriya Raksha University is organizing its 41st talk under its flagship lecture series "Lavad Confab on National Security" which will be delivered by Mr. Paul Szymanski on Monday, 6 May 2024 from 2030-2200 HRS (Indian Standard Time)
Mr. Syamanski has nearly five decades of experience in studying space security, strategy and space warfare. He has contributed to US military space doctrine as an independent consultant. His Lavad Confab session will discuss the recent developments in space politics and strategies, global perspectives on space power and its implications for India.

In a major step towards regional energy collaboration, Ashish
Upadhyaya, special secretary, Union ministry of power,
emphasized the urgent need for increased energy capacities in
South Asia. Speaking at the South Asia (BBIN) Power Summit, organized in New Delhi by the
Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) with the support of the Indian government, Upadhyaya
highlighted the role of strategic planning and stable policies in the backdrop of the region's
economic growth. The summit, a key gathering of influential figures in the energy sector from the
region, sought to address existing challenges and explore new opportunities. Upadhyaya
specifically underscored the importance of India-Nepal collaboration in the energy sector for
mutual economic benefit.
