On 21-03-2024, Young minds of the of Mathematics, PDEU visited Automobile Centre of Excellence (A joint venture of Government of Gujarat and Suzuki India Ltd.).

Students were enlightened about the recent advancements in manufacturing and functionality of all the parts of a typical car.

The Bachelor's and Master's students of Department of Mathematics PDEU Gandhinagar have visited Solar PV module Assembly Line(SOPAL) on March 15, 2024.

Students were enlightened regarding the advancements that SOPAL has been undertaking in the renewable energy arena. After the visit, the young minds have understood the leading role of India across the globe, leading role of Gujarat acrosss India and leading role of SOPAL, Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) across the Gujarat state, in the solar energy sector.

Pandit Deendayal Energy University has celebrated “National Science Day” on 28th February, 2024. The department of Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics jointly organised the event. The
theme of the celebration was “Indigenous Technologies for Viksit Bharat”. Around 175 students of class 9th and 11th form 5 different school from Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar and Dehgam has participated and attended the program. The celebration started with inaugural function in which speakers have discussed their thoughts about science and technologies. There were Quiz contest organised for the students. Also, the students were participated in poster making program on the theme “Indigenous Technologies for Viksit Bharat”. The successful group of students were awarded in different categories. All the students have visited Solar Photovoltaic Panel Assembly Line (SOPAL) and demonstrated how the solar panels are manufactured at PDEU.
