A Recap: EMPM - Electronic Music Production Meet, hosted by GMI in the heart of Delhi at in Hauz Khas, in association with The Inventory (.in)! With an impressive turnout of about 40+ attendees, they got the chance to play in Arturia’s playground setup to experience the latest products, along with amazing breakdowns and insights shared by the mentors Jai Pei, Puneesh Suri, Krishnamurthy and Sijya! Frédéric Brun, Co-founder and CEO, also graced us with his presence! Surprisingly, our Production Summer Camp Alum Manaswini (.exe) won third prize and was presented with the prize by Frédéric itself.

Introducing: !

Raised in Dubai with his myriad influences drawn from American TV, Bollywood, and , he soon emerged as India’s foremost English singer-songwriter—blending Rock, R&B, and Electronica to shape the indie music scene. His dynamic performances, whether at festivals or intimate venues, always evolve around a cinematic experience fuelled by his unique energy, raw emotion, and brazen humour.

Beginning in 2014 with a debut EP ‘Small Victories,’ Tejas has gone on to be prolific in his field, aided by his co producers and bandmates Adil K***a () and Jehangir Jehangir (). His latest album ‘Museum’ is a radical sonic shift and explores new territory by fusing English Pop with Indian Classical instrumentation.

He has travelled across the country to play sold-out shows at most major venues and music festivals, including Lollapalooza India (), Bacardi NH7 Weekender (), Kala Ghoda Arts Festival (), and VH1 Supersonic (). He even supported Damien Rice (), Lucy Rose (), and Westlife () on their Indian tours. Along side these accomplishments, he is also the recipient of the Best Singer-Songwriter of The Year (Jury’s Choice) Award from The Indian Music Diaries Awards 2021 (), and the winner of Pop Artist of the Year from The Indies Awards. He also burst onto the Bollywood scene as the voice of ‘Archie’ in the 2023 Netflix Musical ‘The Archies’ () by Zoya Akhtar ! Working with industry legends Shankar Ehsaan Loy, Javed Akhtar, and Ankur Tewari, Tejas’ voice formed the heart of the film and features on six of songs on the hit album from Sony Music.

Introducing: Yama Seth! ()

Yama Seth is an Artist Manager who kickstarted her career at Big Bad Wolf () – a talent management agency based in New Delhi and Mumbai. She went on to become the Tour Manager for Vir Das’ Alien Chutney in 2016 and has advanced to various bands in India since. Her role as a tour manager with Alien Chutney soon evolved into 360-degree management for India’s biggest legacy act Indian Ocean (). She is also the manager of India’s shining up and comer – Parvaaz () since 2017. Alongside her management endeavors, she is currently working as Head of Talent for Level House India (), a boutique talent management agency under the umbrella of Skillboxes India () and representing a robust roster of talent including Parvaaz, Raman Negi (), Parekh & Singh () to name a few.

Introducing: Dot.! ()

You might know her as Ethel Muggs from ’s ‘The Archies’ ()—she also played the role of singer and composer, performing multiple songs on the film’s soundtrack!

Known for her old-world charm and lyrical deftness, Dot. stole the hearts of many with songs like ‘Everybody Dances to Techno’ in 2017. Since then, her debut album ‘Khamotion’ released in July 2021 to critical acclaim, followed by 2022 singles ‘Pink Roller Skates’ and ‘Wes Anderson’; studio releases of former Youtube-only songs. She is concurrently working on her Master’s degree in Education. Music from her university years has also been compiled and remastered in the form of an album ‘Practice Rooms’, released in December.

2024 is a year where she is embracing all she can do while being herself; as she says, “I don’t want to do something just because it’s the best move.” It’s all about embodying her truth, and nothing has sounded so sweet. Her latest single, ‘Girls Night’, is out now.

He is a singer/composer based out of Bangalore, India who is most popular for being the frontman of his band, an ensemble that writes rock and blues music rooted in folkish lyrical influences. Khalid has sung in many languages including Hindi, Urdu, Kashmiri and Kannada. Khalid as Parvaaz won the for their compositions and continues to tour across the country with this music and band.

Let’s hear it for Almudena Longares (.longares )

Almudena, a Berklee scholarship recipient, contributed to Mumbai’s award-winning film “Kadakh” with director Rajat Kapoor.She spans genres—jazz, flamenco, Kathak, and folk music—collaborating with independent filmmakers. Co-directing “ ” in Delhi, Almudena shapes projects as an arranger, composer, and songwriter.

Let’s hear it for Subhadra( )

Subhadra aka Subu is a musician, theater practitioner and facilitator who has been performing since 2007. She sings, plays the bass and keyboard and has written and performed with her bands Fire Exit, Tankbund and Yellow Bucket apart from singing backing vocals for several bands and artists like , , Taba Chake, Tanmaya Bhatnagar. She is currently a facilitator and performing artist and works with Aagaaz Theatre Trust and Lilanoor Center for Voice and Music.

The last 2 editions got off to a great start and we can only aim that the 3rd edition will exceed expectations!
