What would you use for nose job?

Well, my option will be filler.

I have 3 reasons

1. It it is hyaluronic acid base and is easily reversible.
2. It is an OPD procedure that you come in the OPD and within 15 minutes you can get a good shape nose.

3. Consistency is the most important factor. With the fillers, you will have consistent results but with fat grafting in the nose areas, the results are unpredictable and there can be some lumpiness and bumpiness along with the fact that most of fat is absorbed after one year.

Fillers also are absorbed at the end of one year, but still the consistency of the results is there as the response can be predicted.

What is a p***c lift?

Why do I prefer the scarless approach of lower eyelid surgery?

That means transconjunctival blepharoplasty.

Transconjunctival blepharoplasty is my go-to surgery when operating on a lower eyelid for eye bags.
That means giving a cut on the inside of the eyelid, not the outside.

That does two things.

1. First of all, there is no risk of scarring.

2. Second of all, it has been seen in multiple studies that if you give a cut outside, that means the subciliary approach, there can be skin laxity and the inside of the eyelid can become visible.

Therefore, transconjunctival blepharoplasty is preferable.

In some cases, we have to take out the extra skin.

Even then, it is important that you take out the fat bags from the inside, and from the outside, you do the skin pinch or just the right amount of skin removal.

Fat transfer OR fat repositioning in lower blepharoplasty?

Why I prefer fat transfer over fat repositioning in lower blepharoplasty in doing periorbital rejuvenation or under the eye rejuvenation?

In lower blepharoplasty you must have noticed many a times that I do fat transfer along with that.

While the fat which has been taken out from the eye bags can be repositioned in such a way that the pedicle and the flap comes in the under eye region and gives that fullness but unfortunately we have to rely on the pedicle also.

The pedicle blood supply can be tilted so we have to make sure that the angle is right.

Secondly along that we have to make sure the amount of fat is adequate.

But this is not the case with fat transfer.

As fat transfer is in your hands, you can process it into micro fat and can do a nano fat also for the pigmentation part and place it in such a way that it not only gives fullness but also rejuvenates as a whole.

So I always prefer fat transfer for under eye rejuvenation.

How to decide fillers? Which company to use? What type of fillers to be used?

Well, it is important to understand that there are multiple fillers in the market.

Majorly, there are two players which are FDA approved.

The products made by both of them are good and produce equally good results.

It is important to understand rather than searching for which type of fillers, just look for the fact that they are FDA approved.

The major factor lies in identifying the problem that you are addressing and the injector.

Also, you need to have an artistic eye for the filler injector.

Injection especially because you need to make sure that you inject in such a way that with minimal Ml the maximum results are produced.

So using five ML, 6 ML does not mean that it will give you good results.

Using sometimes minimal fillers also will give you better results and ensure that your safety is there.

The injector knows where to inject which arteries are there.

So these are the most important factors while deciding the type of fillers.

What is Tyndall effect after dermal fillers and how to correct it?

Many times patients come into my OPD with fillers done elsewhere, and they have a blueish hue underneath the eyes after the fillers.

Now this problem is because of the Tyndall effect when the skin is too thin and the filler is placed higher in the wrong plane.

The scattering of the light causes the blue emanation from the filler part, and therefore it becomes a blue issue, which is bothersome for the patient.

Hyaluronidase injection, a hyaluronic acid dissolver, can now correct it, effectively dissolving the filler.

It dissolves the filler immediately, and within 2–3 days, you can get rid of the bluish hue.

But the important thing is to understand that you should choose your injector wisely.

One person who is trained in these sorts of procedures and does not compromise on the filler product.
