In March'64, by printing and publishing an invective pamphlet lampooning a Congress MLA, Keshav Singh, an infinitesimal aspiring politician from Gorakhpur, ended up inadvertently embattling the two pillars of our democracy that eventually led to the Apex Court scrutinizing and harmonizing Articles 194 and 211, in tandem with the Fundamental Rights and our constitutional spirit.

When the Legislature and Judicature hold each other in contempt, and the men fall prey to their inherent instinct of amour propre, unable to exercise restraint, it's either the Devil or the Deep Blue Sea.

This case bears testimony to the wisdom and the ability of the Apex Court to synchronize the seemingly discordant strings and avoid the Sword of Damocles, as we live to see another day.

Oh, what an experience.

We have successfully concluded our Two-Day Workshop where we trained our participants to become competent Trademark Attorneys.

We discussed the practical nuances of getting a Trademark registered in India, how to conduct trademark searches, prepare due-diligence reports/legal opinions along with some tips and tricks to draft effective replies to Examination Reports & argue at show-cause hearings.

On Day 2, we tested how our participants applied theory into practice by giving them a real Trademark case to draft their replies and argue their applications.

We are overjoyed to witness the enthusiasm and learning spirit of our participants on both days.

Our first place winner is Abdus Khan who has won an internship at PA Legal.
Our second place winner is Anika Kagad who will get an LOR.
Our third place winner is Ajinkya Narke who will also get an LOR.

All our participants will get a certificate of completion along with truck loads of practical knowledge and new friends!

More often than not, we doubt. We know it's not okay but we still ask ourselves and eventually convince ourselves that it is. Even when it's not. Thinking that it's normal.

It lives on with the lakhs and crores of people desperately looking for a job and the sharks of companies ready to attack.

Employment Bond is reasonable only in limited circumstances but has been extensively employed by some companies with unfair trade practices to sometimes even extort money from their own employees.

Be very careful of the surrounding happenings when you chance upon such a bond, ensure it is legal, reasonable and fair because once signed (even if out of the fear of not being able to find another job), it can prove to be a bigger challenge than unemployment.

Come what may, DO NOT GIVE ANY POST DATED CHEQUES to the company.
