Unexpected Bleeding - What are the Reasons Behind it!
Unexpected or abnormal vaginal bleeding usually refers to the kind of bleeding that occurs any time outside of the normal time of menstruation. Also termed as spotting, inter-menstrual bleeding or metrorrhagia, bleeding between periods always calls for extra measures to be taken against it, and is a matter of serious concern. The primary causes for unexpected vaginal bleeding generally are:
1) An imbalance of progesterone and estrogen levels triggered by a variety of causes like thyroid gland problems, dysfunctional ovaries and irregular doses of birth control pills, which may eventually lead to spotting.
2) Noncancerous growth such as uterine fibroids are also potential causes of spotting or abnormal bleeding.
3) Miscarriages, ectopic pregnancy, and other kinds of complications involved during childbirth can cause abnormal vaginal bleeding.
4) Infection of reproductive organs caused due to in*******se, vaginal douching, pelvic inflammatory disease, or STDs (sexually transmitted diseases)may lead to bleeding and inflammation.
5) In women, more than 35 years old possibility of cervical or endometrial cancer should be ruled out.
Unexpected vaginal bleeding is a common problem which should not be neglected. The measures will almost always vary since the factors that cause intermenstrual bleeding aren’t the same in all cases. If you experience unexpected bleeding,

When mineral levels are higher, it’s more likely that a kidney stone will form.

Why is acid reflux worse at night?
Acid reflux (or heartburn) at night is an all-too-common problem, contributing to an estimated 7% of sleepless nights. This can have further repercussions, including fatigue, increased anxiety or concentration lapses the following day.
when we are asleep we tend to swallow less, which means that the oesophageal contractions which keep stomach acid in the stomach are reduced, making it easier for reflux to occur. The saliva that we produce helps to neutralize stomach acid, hence reducing symptoms. However, when asleep, saliva production reduces; another contributing factor to worsening symptoms.
There are a few tips one can use to minimize your chances of getting acid reflux at night. Give them a try and see if they work for you.
1. Do not eat large meals too close to bedtime
2. Do not eat foods that cause acid reflux
3. Do not lie down immediately after eating
4. Lie on an elevated headrest
5. Wear loose-fitting clothes to bed
6. Try and sleep on your left side
7. Do not smoke before bedtime
8. Try to meditate before bed

Common Neurological disorders and their facts-
1.EPILEPSY-
Epilepsy is defined as repeated seizures, starting in the brain due to abnormal electrical activity in the brain. The result is like an electrical storm, causing a temporary overload in the brain.
There are many different kinds of seizure. Some end in seconds while others may last several minutes. People might lose their awareness of what is happening or where they are during a seizure. They may lose consciousness altogether.
Each person's experience of epilepsy is unique. Epilepsy is the most common, serious neurological disorder in the world.
2.PARKINSON DISEASE-
Parkinson’s disease is caused by the degeneration of a small part of the brain called the substantia nigra. As brain cells in the substantia nigra die, the brain becomes deprived of the chemical dopamine.
The most recognized symptom is rest tremor, which starts in one hand and involves both hands. There is slowness in doing all the activities of life like taking bath, eating, dressing oneself. There is a change in walking style, taking small steps with body bend forwards.
The patient is expected to improve completely with medicines like levodopa, although there is no cure for this disease.
3. MIGRAINE-
Migraine is one of most common cause of a primary headache. Symptoms includes a severe throbbing recurring pain on one side of the head. However, in 1/3 of migraine attacks, both sides are affected. Attacks last between 4 and 72 hours and are often accompanied by one or more of the following disabling symptoms: visual disturbances, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, extreme sensitivity to sound, light, touch and smell, and tingling or numbness in the extremities or face. Of course, everyone is different, and symptoms vary by person and sometimes by attacks. It’s important to consult a headache specialist if your symptoms are disabling, change, or don’t respond to your usual headache remedies.
4. MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS-
It is a disease where patches of inflammation occur in parts of the brain and/or spinal cord. This can cause damage to parts of the brain and lead to various symptoms. MS causes a wide variety of symptoms. Symptoms of MS are usually unpredictable.
Most common symptoms include vision loss, weakness, and numbness in hands and legs, imbalance while walking, urinary disturbance. Treatment includes giving steroid at the time of relapse and to give medicines to prevent further attacks.
5. STROKE-
Stroke is a sudden occurrence of symptoms like weakness in one half of body, headache, or slurring of speech and sometimes loss of consciousness. This happens due to either ischemia or hemorrhage. Ischemia is blood clots that occur due to blockage of blood vessels and leading to destruction of brain cells. Haemorrhage is due to sudden rise in blood pressure leading to leakage of blood from blood vessels.
In both the conditions, immediate emergency care is needed as timing of treatment is very important and it should be as soon as possible.
For the best diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorder you must consult a neurologist as soon as you start experiencing the symptoms of the condition.

Irregular Heartbeat - Signs You Are Suffering From It!
Irregular Heartbeat or arrhythmia, which you may experience due to a problem in the electrical system of the heart. Such a problem causes the upper parts of the heart or the atria to fibrillate. Due to this quivering, the normal rhythm between the lower parts of the heart and the atria gets disrupted. The ventricles are likely to beat faster in an irregular rhythm. This is a severe condition where the blood may get collected in the atria; this could lead to the formation of blood clots. These clots can block the blood flow and lead to a stroke.
Several conditions cause strain and damage to the heart. These include the following:
1) High blood pressure or hypertension
2) Heart attack
3) Valvular diseases

2) Shortness of breath
3) Feeling weak and fatigued
4) Feeling that the beating of the heart is uneven
