Keeping up with our core value of Sensitivity, our little Shri Ansh of Kalika B celebrated Labour Day by making a thank-you card for their class didi. The children thoroughly enjoyed doing thumb printing inside the heart shape with different shades of colours.

The children of Kalika C celebrated diversity by creating new versions of themselves, enjoying laughter and creativity. They learned to embrace their uniqueness, understanding that differences are wonderful and bring strength.

Number sequencing activity done for Maths in Kalika A. Children had fun working as a Team and sequencing the numbers from 0-9 on the train. They also practiced sequencing through puzzles in a pair.

The students of The Shriram Millennium School attended a talk by Dr. Pramath Raj Sinha, who shared valuable insights on the futuristic jobs as well as duration of working life as a professional. Valuable guidance was shared as to how many switches one could make in their careers in the emerging work scenario. He emphasized that one needs to pursue education in areas of one’s interest. Sound college education is essential for a strong foundational knowledge which nurtures good analytical thinking, writing and creativity to pursue futuristic careers.

Our little Shri Ansh of Ankur celebrated Fun Day in style. They participated in various activities like craft making, dance, story session and games. Looking forward to a great year with them!

Our Shri explorers from Kalika C had a blast immersing themselves in a sensory adventure! From touching and tasting to seeing, smelling, and listening, they experienced a day filled with fun and learning.

As the election fervour sweeps the nation, our aspiring Student Council candidates find themselves immersed in their own campaign, introducing themselves and striving to gather votes from students in Grades 4 to 11. They put their best foot forward to connect with their peers and earn their support.

In keeping with the philosophy of helping the parents stay connected with the teaching processes adopted by the school, a workshop on Sounds Make Sense was organised for the parents of Koshika to Class I, conducted by Ms Mimi Chatterjee. It was nice to see the parents immerse themselves in various fun activities and understand the details of Phonics.

In collaboration with the CII and under the able leadership of Ms.Radhika Bharat Ram, Joint Vice Chairperson of The Shri Ram Schools, a roundtable discussion on ‘Mental Health Imperatives- Narrative for Indian Educators’ was conducted on 19.04.24, at The India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, which was presided over by the Additional Secretary, Department of School Education and Literacy, Mr.Anandrao V. Patil, IAS.
The chief speaker, Dr. Daniel Fung, CEO, Institute of Mental Health, Singapore shared anecdotes to highlight the growing need to address the issues among educators, students as well as parents with empathy, especially in the post COVID world.
The event which commenced with the unveiling of a Report and Analysis of Mental Health of Educators across NCR Schools was followed by an insightful discussion by eminent panelists from the field of Education.
It was agreed upon that sensitization programs through dialogue targeting parents, teachers and management was the need of the hour.
The meeting was concluded with a commitment to prioritize mental health initiatives for teachers and to work collaboratively towards their successful implementation since mental well- being is the resource in each of us which enables us to reach closer to our full potential as well as make us resilient in the face of adversity.
