ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಉನ್ನತೀಕರಣದ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ದೇಶಪಾಂಡೆ ಸ್ಕಿಲ್ಲಿಂಗ್, ಹುಬ್ಬಳ್ಳಿ ಇವರು ಬಿ.ವಿ.ವಿ.ಎಸ್ ಪಾಲಿಟೆಕ್ನಿಕ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸ್ಕಿಲ್ ಪ್ಲಸ್ ನ 19 ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು LEAD ಪ್ರೊಗ್ರಾಮ್ ನ ಮುಖಾಂತರ 180 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳು 15 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ನಕ್ಷೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮಗ್ಗಿಯ ಚಾರ್ಟುಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಲೈಬ್ರರಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ಶಾಲೆಯ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಗುರುಗಳು, ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು, ಎಸ್.ಡಿ.ಎಂ.ಸಿ ಸದಸ್ಯರು, ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರು ಸ್ಕಿಲ್ ಪ್ಲಸ್ ನ LEAD ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

LEADer Pallavi Tippannavar took this initiative as a challenge. Because of the worksite conditions in Kittur, the frequency of the buses to remote villages like Beedi, Nandgarh, Sangolli, Tigadolli etc which are situated in the circumference of 14 KMS have been very less.

To solve this issue, she wrote a letter and submitted it to bus route controller in the month of April. As Kittur belongs to Bailhongal Depot, it took 2 months of time for the Depot manager to provide a special bus to Tigadolli which will be running every hour.

38 LEADers from Deshpande Skilling (DSF 01) batch visited the Kalkeri Sangeeta Vidyalaya and had a tour of the facilities and also had a chance to interact with the students, faculty, and administration. The students then performed Shramadaana and also engaged in a few other activities.

LEADers from Deshpande Skilling (DSF 01) took an initiative of raising funds for Kalkeri Sangeeta Vidyalaya. 38 students raised funds of Rs. 12,334 in 2 hours and was given to Kalkeri Sangeeta Vidyalaya. They collected the funds from college, bus stops and market area in Dharwad Karnataka.
