A large number of people are facing eye flu. Since it is a type of infection, the risk of conjunctivitis increases in whoever comes in contact with the victim.

According to a TOI report, a doctor said that conjunctivitis is not a life-threatening infection anyway. Although it harms the eyes, so people should take it seriously. Conjunctivitis can last for 5-6 days. It is also known as 'pink eye' infection. Most people believe that this disease spreads through eye contact. While the doctor says that it neither spreads through the air nor does it spread through eye contact. Conjunctivitis affects someone when he uses things used by an infected person.

What are the symptoms of this disease?

The white part of the eyes of a person suffering from conjunctivitis becomes completely pink and red. There is itching and pain in the eyes. Water comes out continuously. Sometimes the vision becomes blurred. Eyes get swollen. This disease does not have any bad effect on the eyesight, although you may see blurring for some time.

1. Take care of cleanliness
2. Wash hands frequently
3. Do not touch the eyes again and again
4. Do not share your towels, bedding or handkerchief with anyone
5. Avoid Contact Lenses
6. Do not take any medicine of your own free will.
7. Avoid going to public swimming pools
8. Keep distance from the infected person
9. Don't use anything belonging to an infected person
