The club joyously celebrated Children's Day under community service project Tiny Smiles at Jubilee Park.
The celebration began with cake cutting and distribution of sweets, snacks and bottled water to underprivileged children. Games and entertainment programme was organised for the children. President RTR Anshu Kumari, Secretary Rtr Mayank Garg and other Rotaractors did the distribution of sweets and helped in creating a vibrant atmosphere for the children who will cherish this deed for a long time.

RCJ Project Positive Health Committee
The committee together with CCDS, JUSCO and USP held a medical checkup camp in front of Sacred Heart Convent School from 7a.m.onwards. Blood Sugar, Blood Pressure and BMI of 90 people was checked and counseling by doctors was done. Rotarians present at the camp were :-

They served food and sweets at BSS School, Burmamines and Gurukul at Gamharia on Friday,10th November 2023 and Chota Banki and Imli Tola villages and Old Age Home run by Sisters of Charity at Baradwari on Saturday, 11th November 2023.

Rotary Vividh Sewa Kendra
A vibrant Festival of Lights and Children's Day was celebrated at RVSK. The tiny tots along with their teachers and Mrs.Raimani ji decorated the place with colourful balloons, diyas and meticulously done rangolis. The students are taught to respect different cultures and learn values from them.
Lord Ganesha and Goddess Laxmi idols were installed and worshipped by all present. Sweets, toffees and biscuits were distributed among the children.They were also served idli, chutney and aloo masala. Rtn Kaustubh Kumar, Rsp Divya and Rotarylet Divisha and Rtn Asha Singh gifted school bag and stationery to all the students. Tribe T.V. journalists recorded the whole event and captured PP Rtn Kety Bhathena's interaction with senior journalist Mr. Jitendra. Social activist Mr. Prabhakar and Mr.Ajay Pandey graced the occasion.

There was excitement in the remote villages Chota Banki and Imli Tola as it was food distribution day by Shirdi Sai Trust and Rotary Club of Jamshedpur. The hot nutritious meal consisted of

RCJ Bhelaipahari Mother and Child Health Care Centre
The Clinic was held at the centre where Dr.Rita Bhatnagar checked 52 women and prescribed medicines. Nutritious food packets were distributed among all 52 pregnant and lactating women. Rsp Surya Venkat and PP Rtn Kety Bhathena did the registration and distribution of food and medicines.
The Rotary Mobile Eye Clinic was at St.Joseph School, Bhelaipahari with technicians from Jamshedpur Eye Hospital. 36 students of Std. 9 &10 and some teachers were checked and 10 of them were detected with vision problems. The Principal and Vice-Principal were there to support Rtn Santosh Ranjan and Rtn Asha Singh. The Chairperson of the Committee Rtn Darshana Taunk will arrange for spectacles for the students.

The Playschool run under the aegis of Rotary Club of Jamshedpur celebrated Durga Puja at the school premises. The tiny tots under the guidance of their teachers Ms.Miru and Ms.Sumitra worshipped Goddess Durga with flowers and fruits and also performed a dance to please Her. They were taught about how good and truth wins over the evil on Vijayadashmi..Sweets were distributed among the students.All this was done under the able guidance of PP Rtn Kety Bhathena.

The Committee organised a Talk and interactive session 'ANXIETY IN TEENS' at People's Academy School,
New Baradwari, Jamshedpur.The Principal Mr.Chandradeep Pandey welcomed the rotarians.The speaker Rtn Shamita Ahuja explained 'ANXIETY IN TEENS' to the 250 students and elaborated on its causes. She also gave tips on getting rid off it. Committe Chairperson Rtn Dr.Neena Gupta conducted games for the students and gave prizes to the winners.President Rtn Pramod Dubey and Honourable Secretary Rtn V.S.P.Sinha also expressed their views on the topic.The Principal thanked the rotarians for this awareness programme.

The Committee organised a Talk with Interactive session on the topic 'POWER OF INTENTION AND FREEDOM OF ADDICTION' at DBMS Kadma High School.The speaker was Rtn Pooja Mohanty. She spoke about addiction and how to stay away from it. She took the help of slides to show the disastrous effects of addictions on the brain and heart.The 350 Higher Secondary students of the school participated enthusiastically in the interactive session and the role play. Committee Chairperson Rtn Dr.Neena Gupta thanked the School Management Committee and the Principal Mrs.Gurpreet Bhamra for their cooperation. Clinic was held at the centre by Dr.Jugnu Kalsey. She checked 33 patients and prescribed medicines to them. Nutritious food packets were given to 16 pregnant and lactating women.8 new registrations were done.

Rotary Club of Jamshedpur organised an Awareness Programme for girls GOOD TOUCH AND BAD TOUCH at Prathmik Vidyalay, New Kapali Basti on 12th October 2023.
Mrs.Rachna Nair and Rashmi Kauntia from YI gave an informative talk and showed a film related to Good Touch and Bad Touch to make the girl students aware of their safety. Rtn Aruna Taneja advised them to be alert and take care of themselves. The Principal thanked the speakers for their effort to make the 70 girl students aware of their surroundings.

RCJ International Girl Child Day Activity

An Awareness Camp on Menstrual Hygiene was organised at Vikas Ucch Vidyalay, Silpahari. Sanitary napkins were distributed among 110 girls.
Rtn Dr. V.S.P. Sinha explained to the students the importance of International Girl Child Day.
Rtn Aruna Taneja discussed in detail about menstrual problems and hygiene. Rtn Geeta Dubey advised the girl to study hard and build a career to lead a respectable life.

The Committee organised a Cleanliness Awareness Camp at Government Rajendra Madhya Vidhyalay, Baghbera, Jamshedpur. Rtn Dr. Sourav Banerjee emphasized on washing hands before meal and after using the toilet. He also showed the techniques of brushing teeth. Rtn Kaustubh Kumar spoke on importance of keeping one's surroundings clean. All 200 students were provided handwash and toothpaste by the committee. World Heart Day

Rotary Club of Jamshedpur together with 6 other Rotary Clubs of Jamshedpur and Rotary Club of Chaibasa organised a Mega Heart Screening Camp for the underprivileged at Karim City College.44 children aged 6 months to 18 years underwent the screening.
