We are proud to present Punyam,(Good Works) the III edition of Kaduppam series by JY Screens. Over the last couple of years, a group of talented young Jesus Youth in Kerala have been behind Kaduppam a witty, humorous, short film series about two young friends trying to live the faith in the chaos of their everyday lives. The series became popular among young people, garnering tens of thousands of views and creating a buzz.
In a world lacking in faith-based, entertaining content, it is important that we subscribe and support the Jesus Youth channel, and get as many others to do so. Let us also stand behind and support the Jesus Youth Screens team for Punyam—led by by Jaiby Augustine— who generously set aside their time and talents. Have a blessed Lenten season with ‘Punyam’

An effective way of being part of a JY mission is to learn about the mission place - it’s culture, language and traditional practices. A. T Joseph Uncle (affectionately known as Pappa among the Jesus Youth in US) has been called to eternal rest. He had a stroke and was on ventilator support for the last two weeks. He survived for a few days even after removing the ventilator. In my early years in Jesus Youth, as a young student, I learnt the beauty of the Jesus Youth life style from their family…the joy of opening homes to welcome young people.. much more than anything else in our lives, placing Jesus at the centre of our family.. their home was the Jesus Youth hub for all our gatherings... All their children - Santhosh (one of the pioneers of the Jesus Youth Fulltime Volunteers’ training), Sanjay, Sangeetha, Alphonsa (Alphy) and Joseph (Joe) took a one year full time commitment.. Even at the age of 83, with all the difficulties of age and illness, Uncle came for the physical gathering held in Chicago this month and committed himself on the recommitment day. What a victorious life he lived! Until the last moment, he kept on inspiring and challenging all of us! May God give his soul eternal peace and a safe resting place with Him. Let’s keep Marykutty Aunty and the family in our prayers.
