And to help it pass through we certainly need more beautiful souls like Dr. Rehana Sultana who runs a Homeopathy Clinic in Uttar Panchanogram(Chowbaga) where she also runs a free school for underprivilege children of the area.
Finally doing what we love to do the most after a long pause. It was an amazing experience to be there among the little angels who were so enthusiastic to see us & gave us warm greeting. Their happiness had no limit to have received the little gifts that we got for them. Their desires & the idea of a luxury, is something so basic that each one of them deserves at the least.
We would like to Thank Mr. Guddu Jaiswal who sponsored stationary for these children. Society needs more people like you, Sir ! God bless you all. 🙏😇

RIP Sindhu Tai 🙏You are True inspiration for us🙏💐

Charity is not restricted to any caste, creed, religion or Country. Keep doing good deeds whichever part of the world you are located in. Although LIONS CLUB SUNSHINE have taken a little pause due to some unavoidable circumstances but our Charity work didn't completely stop. Our club President Mrs. Kiran Tiwari Bhuwalka took Lions Club Sunshine all the way to the USA, LOS ANGELES where she participated in a Community work of Vance North Necessities of Life Program where she donated food supplies to 2000 homeless people.
We, as a team, can't be more proud of Mrs. Bhuwalka who, despite so many turmoils in her personal life, didn't take a step back when it came to serving Humanity. She personally packed more than half of the supplies. She is an inspiration to so many of us. God bless her.

Day 32 - (16th June 2021)

It is with the deepest regret that we announce the sad & untimely demise of Mr. Mohit Kumar Bhuwalka, husband of our Lions Club Sunshine President Mrs. Kiran Tiwari Bhuwalka on 16th June 2021.
He had been fighting for 2 long months but atlast, lost the battle & left this world to his heavenly abode.
Lions Club Sunshine offer sincere condolences to the Bhuwalka family, friends & close ones.

Keeping the personal grief aside, we ensured that today's activity is not missed. Although we couldn't be physically present to conduct the activity but we had arranged & distributed the cooked meal to 150 people in Nimtalla area in the name of Late. Mr. Bhuwalka. May his soul rest in peace.

We request each one of our well wishers to pray for the soul. 🙏

Day 31 - (15th June 2021)

We will always be remembered for the things we do. Lets make the remembrance worthwhile. Lets leave a print of goodness strong enough so that it brings smile on people's face & good words from them even after we leave this world. Our individual effort will make a healthy society & gradually a better world. Lets work towards it. 😇🙏

Day 30 - (14th June 2021)

We work hard, we sacrifice things in life, we give our time, effort, blood sweat & tears only to earn money to survive & the most important & basic thing for survival is FOOD. During this pandemic & lockdown, from the last year till now, we have seen how people have struggled for one time meal. Since then, we have mostly concentrated on providing food & dry ration to people & we feel this is the least we could have done.
We will forever be grateful to each one of those who have helped us continue this task. 🙏😇

Day 29 - (13th June 2021)

Charity is not a one day affair. It's the zeal & pure compassion to do things for the needy whenever possible in whatever ways. Each one of us are in need of something or the other in life. If you fulfill the need of others which is within your capacity, God will open avenues for you which you probably have never expected. So keep doing good, it's never out of fashion. 😇

Make every act a barter system. Give what you have in exchange of blessings. Help people in return of making good karmas for yourself. Feed hungry which will help you feed your soul. Day 27 - (11th June 2021)

SYMPATHY leads to the feeling of sorrow for other's misery while EMPATHY leads you to share it. It's easy to feel pity on the misfortune of less privilege but I would say it's easier to share your lil fortune with them. All you have to do is try to help atleast 1 or 2 person near you or whoever you see or know personally are in need. World will become a better & happier place to live. 😇🙏

Take each day as it comes. Keep your hopes high & faith intact, rest everything will fall in place. The constant love, support & blessings of our well wishers have kept us moving till now. May God help us in achieving our target & our target is to only help the needy. With our constant effort we try to make a little difference to the world thats already suffering immensely. We may not be able to solve all of their problems, but sharing it & trying our best to ease it. We are doing our bit.

Day 21 - (5th June 2021)

Giving is not just about making a donation. It's about making a difference. And we know we are making a difference when each day God help us meet our target somehow or the other. When people proactively come forward to help us & appreciate our work which gives us encouragement & zeal to do more.
By the grace of God we have continued our task smoothly from the past 21 days & wish to continue for as long as possible.

Today we distributed 200 packets of meal in Nimtalla area & Beadon Street. And distributed dry ration (Rice, Dal, Aatta, Potatoes, onions, cooking oil, salt, sugar, powder masala) to 3 families.

Day 20 - (4th June 2021)

It's not easy to keep your personal problems aside & help people selflessly. As our club President Mrs. Kiran Tiwari Bhuwalka is struggling every second with her husband's critical condition who is fighting for his life from past almost 2 months but not even for a day she missed out on her duty & humanity call. Wiping her tears off, speaking to the doctors constantly over the phone yet she leaves from the hospital for our activity everyday. Today the day was extremely tough on all of us & especially on her. She indeed has some different level of power & we salute her courage.

I request each one of our well wishers to pray for her husband's health & quick recovery. Prayer is the only thing Mr. Mohit Bhuwalka & his family is in need of. 🙏🙏

Day 19 - (3rd June 2021)

If you think this pandemic is the wrath of God, have faith He is more merciful to send help to needy through some sources or the other which you can never anticipate. We are able to say this with the first hand experience we go through everyday.
Lions Club Sunshine would like to thank Mrs. Nisha Gupta Agarwal for sponsoring today's meal to the poor & homeless. All of you guys are the chosen one from God for this noble task. May God reward you all in abundance who are willingly coming forward to help us.

Today we distributed 200 packets of cooked meal in Nimtalla area & sent dry ration(rice, aatta, dal, potatoes, onions, sugar, cooking oil, salt, biscuit packets) to 5 families in Mullickpur.

Day 18 - (2nd June 2021)

When we started with the task, the only thing we had with us was pure intension to serve Humanity. We didn't know for how long we will be able to continue this. We only prayed to God to help us feed maximum people for the day & then struggled for the next day. We took one day at a time & then God kept sending some angels or the other & created ways for us to make things easier. Hence proved that when your intensions are pure & faith is intact nothing is impossible. Today was the 18th day of our activity & by the grace of God we pledge to continue for as long as possible & help as many as we can.

God is the only one who would never disappoint you. Keep the faith. 🙏

Day 17 - (1st June 2021)

Was quite a hot & hectic day but wrapped it up on a satisfactory note knowing that some hunger has been satiated & some need has been fulfilled. We can't be more thankful to God for making our task easier everyday by sending some beautiful souls who are willingly coming forward & helping us to help others.
We are Thankful to Mr. Akash for sponsoring cooked meal for approx 150 people & Mr. Amit Jaiswal who donated an oxygen cylinder in association with Lions Club Sunshine to an Old Age Home.

Today we distributed 150 packets of khichda & jalebi in Nimtalla area, Beadon Street & in Park Circus area.
We donated an Oxygen Cylinder & packets of milk in an Old Age Home in Tollygunge.
Dry ration to another Old Age Home in B.M Roy Road(Sodepur).

As we know the lockdown has extended till 15th June 2021, so has our serve to mankind. We are more than happy & humble to some beautiful souls like Ms. Chanda Zaveri whose heart is full of compassion & sympathy for the less fortunate & we certainly believe that you are the chosen Angel of God for this noble deed. Thank you God for creating some beautiful souls who defines the truest meaning of Humanity. One such soul is Mr. Ehsan Amin, the owner of Alfina 33 restaurant, who came forward after seeing our work & wanted to sponsor today's lunch to these poor, homeless people.

Day 14 - (29th May 2021)

It goes without saying that we are living through an unprecedented times. Time where now people actually realised that money can't save a life. Millionaires & Billionaires are sitting on their money unable to get 1 oxygen cylinder or a hospital bed. Hence proved that time is the biggest tyrant.
Prayer is the only thing that keeps us going. Never stop praying for yourself & others. Rest is all temporary & unpredictable. Prayers & good deeds are our only hope at this crucial time. May God heal the world soonest.

Today we distributed 300 packets of cooked meal in Nimtalla, Beadon Street & Kankurgachi area.

Day 12 - (27th May 2021)

A rainy day & water logged in every corner of the streets but who cares when your intention is to serve humanity.
We were unable to make it in the day time cuz it wasn't possible due to heavy rainfall. But we ensured we won't let them sleep hungry so served them dinner.

We distributed cooked meal to 200 people in Nimtalla area & Manicktalla stretch.

Help us to serve them better & more. At the end, all we take with us is Karma. Lets work towards making it good only.

Day 11 - (26th May 2021)

When I say it was a difficult day, I didn't mean us but them - the poor, homeless who didn't even have a shelter in rain. It's heart breaking to say the least. I wish we could do more for them but the least that was possible was to provide them 1 meal.
It's our duty & moral responsibility to help the less privilege ones. They need us. Help them in whatever means possible.

Today we distributed 150 packets of cooked meal in Nimtalla area & 100 packets of muri, biscuits & bottled water to the ones who got stuck on the footpath.

Day 10 - (25th May 2021)

Sometimes weather are extreme challenge for us. Especially when we have Cyclone alert around. But its a sheer blessing of God & support of our well wishers that we are able to do whatever little we can. We are more than blessed & happy to receive calls from people in need. The fact that they have hope in us, keeps us going & motivates us to do better & more.

Today we distributed 200 packets of cooked meal in Nimtalla area and approx 100 packets in and around Beadon street and opposite of Company Bagan areas.
Sent dry ration to 7 families (rice, dal, aatta, cooking oil, sugar, potato, onion, turmeric powder, chilli powder, chowmein, Maggi,soap,surf,shampoo,muri & Lactogen milk powder to one family who has 2yr old infant).

Day 9 - (24th May 2021)

"Bad weather"... "rainy day" ... "cyclone alert" ... but hunger knows no weather or warnings. We have homes to stay safe & protected but a lotta people don't. During this pandemic & lockdown situation, they are dependent on people like us who are ready to go out & serve them. And we are more than happy to do that.
Lets pray to God to help all of us from the wrath of this cyclone.

Today we distributed rice, dal & sabzi to approx 200 people in Nimtalla area.

Day 8 - (23rd May 2021)

Was quite a hectice day in this heat but it was worthwhile. The thought that atleast few families don't have to be bothered about their one month's ration takes away all our exhaustion.
Lions Club Sunshine would like to thank Maria Ahsan - Makeup Artist for joining us in this great cause. She took the initiative of organising a Covid Fundraiser which helped us generate some generous amount. We thank each one of our DONORS who contributed for this noble cause & made this event super successful. 🙏🙏
We completed our 1st drive & looking forward for more in coming days.

Today we distributed dry ration to approx 30 families in Baguihati area(Rice, Dal, Aatta, potatoes, onions, sugar, cooking oil, salt, chilli power, haldi power, packet of chowmein & mask).
We distributed 200 packets of cooked meal(puri sabzi & biscuit) in Nimtalla Area, Kalighat, Park Circus-opp Quest Mall.

Day 7 - (May 22nd 2021)

Thank God every day that some of us stand on the better side of the line. And with that blessing, try & share some of your fortune with the ones who unfortunately stands on the other side.
No wealth, cars, properties or any materialistic things you can take with you from this world but only your good deeds. Lets work upon it & help the needy as much as you can. You help them with food, they help you to build your good karmas. You owe them more always.

Today we distributed 170 packets of Khichda, 150 packets of puri sabzi & biscuits, masks & bottled water in Khidderpore Area(outside Syed Baba Mazhaar), Nimtalla area & opp Quest Mall, Park Circus.
