The lamp lighting ceremony is an auspicious occasion in every nurse's life and formally recognizes the students' entry into the nursing profession. It is also a day to celebrate new beginnings. Light is a universal symbol of truth, knowledge, and understanding. Today B.P. Poddar & Parvati Devi Academy of Nursing has celebrated their third lamp lighting and oath taking ceremony for 120 BSC and GNM nursing students at Gorabazar nursing college auditorium in presence of distinguished guest, students and faculties.
