"Mahi" and "Priyanka" wanted to see their father's workplace.Their father loves them immensely and doesn't hesitate to fulfill any of their wishes or desires.They went to his workplace, the "Supreme Court," to explore it and were delighted.Their father is the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Honorable Mr. D.W. Chandrachud, while their mother, Mrs. Kalpana Chandrachud.Daughters sat on wheelchair with their parents.

Both Mahi and Priyanka are disabled and cannot walk without a wheelchair. Both are adopted daughters of the Chandrachud couple, and they love them more than anything else. The picture was taken in the premises of the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court observed that witnesses in Uttar Pradesh should communicate in Hindi when appearing before the tribunal, even if they are from different states. In a motor accident case, a plea seeking transfer to a tribunal in West Bengal was dismissed as Hindi is the national language and deemed appropriate for the witnesses. The court also rejected the argument that the accident's location should determine the tribunal's jurisdiction. Justice Dipankar Datta, who presided over the case, is from West Bengal.

The Supreme Court Friday ordered that the proceedings pending before Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay of Calcutta High Court against Trinamool Congress leader Abhishek Banerjee in relation to the school-for-jobs case, be transferred to some other judge.

A bench headed by Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud and Justice PS Narasimha passed the order in light of the fact that Justice Gangopadhyay had given an interview to news channel ABP Ananda regarding Banerjee even as the case concerning Banerjee was being heard by the judge.

A 10-year-old boy allegedly r***d a three-year-old girl at a school in the district, a police official said on Sunday.

The boy has been detained by the police, while the girl has been sent for medical examination.

Citing the complaint lodged by the girl's family members, police said the girl was taken to the roof of the school and allegedly r***d by the boy on Saturday
