It's no surprise that making mistakes is a part of life. When your toddler is doing some kind of activity or playing, they're bound to make mistakes, but telling them to avoid mistakes or being harsh on them for it, will only make them feel more nervous and lead them to making more mistakes.
Instead, try to create a calm environment for them and let them know that it's okay to make mistakes. Not just children but adults also often make mistakes and mistakes are how each individual grows. So, let's not shy away from making mistakes but embrace the learnings that come with making these errors!
Instead of a simple ' good job' or ' well done!' , let's try this easy rephrasing trick. By using these alternatives, we're appreciating our little ones' efforts, thinking process, and creativity. In the process, we're building their resilience as well as boosting their self-confidence.
Isn't that wonderful? ❤️🌻
“Can we repeat these activities from class with our children ?” “Why aren’t the classes being held everyday so they can learn faster?” We get these questions often and we’re here to answer them. Parents, our Tickle Right Method isn't about the children learning faster, what you should understand is that your little ones are trying to hone or learn new skills depending on each tiny tot’s unique abilities.
This can take a while and is not something that should be rushed. Your child’s brain should be kept active to better their skills and development, but in a way that they look forward to doing so.
Pro tip: Activities can be practiced at home, but should not be repeated. Try to mix up and introduce new topics, songs, to your kids. This will keep them sharp as well as satisfy their curiousity, yet keep them eager enough to learn more!
Hello, mummies and daddies!
Tickle Right is back again to answer another frequently asked question, with a fun twist. :D
Ever so often, parents ask us if they'll see a difference in their child after a few classes.
As parents, caregivers, and early childhood educators, we must understand that our babies are like flowers.
They don't bloom overnight. They need a conducive environment, replete with encouragement, positivity, kind words, and a whole lot of love. When we consistently provide such an atmosphere to our tiny tots, they thrive.
When parents enroll their little ones in our programme, we ask of them a simple favour- to exercise patience.
The process is long, but surely enjoyable. When you place a little faith in the programme and your child, we can assure you that your baby's learnings will truly astound and amaze you.
Remember - Good things take time. Brain development is no different.
Lots of love,
Team Tickle Right ❤️
Parents, educators, care-givers, let's make gratitude a priority in our homes.
Because gratitude is a skill.
An attitude of gratitude is a positive way of looking at life. It can increase our little ones’ happiness, teach them to be more empathetic, and help them be more thankful for all their wonderful blessings!
What are you grateful for today?
❤️

Ignoring your child is not the solution!
Say it louder for the people in the back. 📣
Ignoring makes your child feel isolated.
Communication makes them feel heard. They realise they're loved and that their feelings are valid.
The next time you feel like ignoring your tiny tot, don't. It does no good. ❤️🌸
Actions that help cultivate a sense of Self-Confidence in your little ones!
Happy parenting. ❤️
As you all know, the Tickle Right method believes that learning is all around us, and this month we will tell you how you can make most while traveling with children! Stay tuned 😊💃
