Our Vision is to ensure our next generation files high in a world free of fear and discrimination against HIV/AIDS. Our work schedule is stated as hereunder :-

Our NGO’s main target is to establish a complete Thalassaemia and HIV/AIDS Treatment and Research Center. The Thalassaemic and HIV/AIDS Patients will get the every facilities under one roof and to establish and maintain a village for the Thalassaemia and HIV/AIDS affected persons, those who are neglected by their family and society. We are successfully running and providing Ambulance Service for the beneficial of Thalassamic & AIDS Patients and the poor downtrodden people. We organize mass awareness and screening programme on Thalassaemia HIV/AIDS in High School and College students of West Bengal. We are also organize Scientific Seminars, Rally, Street Dramas, Talking Doll, Magic Shows, Debate, Exhibition, Press Meet, Art Competition and Work-shops on Thalassaemia and HIV/AIDS to educate people of all sectors and community. We are hopeful to carry on a nonstop campaign of publicity carrying message for fruitful results of pre-marriage blood examination as an effective means of prevention of Thalasseamia. Our NGO have tried to reduce HIV/AIDS related stigma and discrimination by practicing what we preach. That is, functioning as a group of people living with HIV/AIDS and their friends (PLWHAF) that works in hand to hand to serve as a major force for social change. Addressing service and research need with regard to social physical, psychological concerns of people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA).Working as a resource group and conducting training programmes on issues related to HIV/AIDS. The resource group involves (PLWHAF) actively as facilitators and positive speakers during various programme. There is a requirement to arrange clinical management in different hospitals and drop-in centre for PLWHAS's. PLWHA’s proper counselling and home based care and prevention of parents to child transmission, service for rapid situation assessments, education programme, evaluation of STI / HIV / AIDS intervention programmes. Self-dependable of PLWHAs and their mental support. Working through a mixed team of PLWHAs and non-HIV infected people, facilitating the creation of an enabling environment for children infected with and / or affected by HIV / AIDS through formation of a forum of infected / affected children. This will provide children an opportunity for complete psycho-social and physical development. PROGRAMMES FOR THALASSAEMIA….. Our NGO arranged for a more effective awareness campaign and survey programme on Prevention of Thalassaemia, firstly, through Screening and Counseling of family members and relatives of Thalassaemic patients, and secondly, Screening and Counseling of pregnant women and their husband. This programme will include advocacy, awareness and carrier screening. Aslo organize Scientific Seminars and Workshops on Thalassaemia to educate people of all community especially Priests, Registrar of marriage, Match makers who are engaged in marriage procedures. With the support of these people, We are hopeful to carry on a nonstop campaign of publicity carrying message for fruitful results of pre-marriage blood examination as an effective means of prevention of Thalasseamia. We successfully arranged treatment facility for near about 200 Thalassaemic patients, outdoor and indoor services at free of cost with the help of different government hospitals and supply them blood and some medicines as required and also some financial support for blood test etc. Our NGO run a charitable clinic HEALTH BANK at 21, Deshapran Sasmal Road, Kolkata – 700033. Our society has no blood transfusion center, but yet we help these Thalassaemic patients by sending them to various government hospitals for blood transfusion at free of cost. The members of our society aids nearly 200 nos. of these Thalassaemic patients regularly outdoor treatment is provided and at free of cost by supplying them blood, helping in performing various clinical examinations and even spleen operations are arranged. We also aids nearly 80 nos. of HIV / AIDS affected persons regularly outdoor treatment is provided and at free of cost by supplying them general medicine, helping in performing various clinical examinations. Our NGO have organized RED RIBBON CUP T-20 CRICKET MATCH…

For the first time in the World HIV/AIDS affected persons participated and played in the Cricket Match against District Level Club Team of West Bengal. We acquired a huge publicity and support from this particular event and successfully conveyed Our Message to the General public about the Stigmas & Discrimination of HIV/AIDS. The main object of the whole event is to reach the General People much more easily and cordially to establish a Philanthropic relation among the HIV/AIDS affected and the common mass. And to bring the affected people in the mainstream and provide them a healthy and dignify life The prime target of this programme is to Eradicate the Stigmas & discrimination against HIV/AIDS in the common people. This purpose lead us to Organise this particular event every year and bring the affected people in the limelight. This match was played between eminent cricketers, film stars and other celebrities. This sports meet will be organised every year in different places of the State of West Bengal. RURAL GENERAL MEDICAL SERVICE

Our NGO run and maintain our Unit Office at Sundarban, 17, Thakurpara Road, Vill – Mazilpur, P.O. : Joynagar Mazilpur, P.S. Joynagar, 24-Parganas (South), Pin – 743337, to run and provide Rural General Medical Service with medicines at free of cost. At present working on the poor downtrodden distressed village people of Sunderban, Kultali Block, 24-Parganas (South) and surrounding areas. These poor rural people are treated by eminent team of doctors and medical staff through monthly medical camps. Our special target group is Fisherman, Farmer, SC/ST etc., we are trying to arrange special programme for the betterment of this neglected part of the society. We are also planning different health development programmes for the poor rural people in the forthcoming year and We are also trying to establish and run a Unit at Uluberia Sub – Division, Howrah. Many Thalassaemia Patients have been detected at this area and we would like to provide our services at this sector. We are also trying to establish and run a Unit at Uluberia Sub – Division, Howrah. AWARENES & PREVENTION PROGRAMME
Our society holds and organizes Rallies, Seminars, Exhibitions, Press Meets, Video Documentary Film Shows and different awareness programmes for the general public on the deadly killer diseases like Thalassaemia, HIV / AIDS and Hepatitis – B. We also organize Thalassaemia Careet Detection, Blood Grouping Camps, Blood Donation Camps and Hapatitis – B Vaccination Camps through various club organisation and school all over West Bengal. CHILDREAN DAY (14th NOVEMBER)
Our society celebrate CHILDREN DAY (14TH NOVEMBER) every year. On this day we organize various amusement programmes to entertain the Thalassaemic Children. Like, Cultural programmes, Sit & Draw Competition, Quiz, Gift and Prize Distribution. Also organize Anti – Thalassaemia Rally, Blood Donation Camp etc. VOLUNTARY BLOOD DONATION DAY 1ST OCTOBER)
Our society observe VOLUNTARY BLOOD DONATION DAY (1ST OCTOBER) every year. To observe this day we organize, Seminars, Press Meets to create awareness among the public to Donate Blood and the Save a Life. WORLD AIDS DAY (1ST DECEMBER)
Our NGO Observed WORLD AIDS DAY (1ST DECEMBER). We organize, Seminars, Press Meets, Exhibition, Installation of Demonstration Stall and arrange Marshall Rally (Torch Rally), to create awareness among the public to prevent themselves from HIV / AIDS and STD etc. diseases and to use condom for safe s*x. Awareness camp. For last 27years, I am operating as Hony. General Secretary of Thalassaemia and AIDS Prevention Society and actively worked for the mass awareness generation and medical support also to strengthen them mentally and bring them to mainstream of our society. We dedicated to work on Thalassemia and HIV / AIDS Prevention and its eradication of stigma and panic in our society. I organised different rallies, seminars and cultural programmes all over West Bengal. I successfully achieved our objective to make common people aware about Thalassaemia and AIDS Prevention and measures to eradicate the both from our society. I believe our new mission regarding awareness for Organ Donation in vision to save valuable life will be fruitful and our noble endeavour to be accomplished. In the recent time we have observed that due to lack of awareness, for different organ failures people are dying, but these unfortunate people can be saved through organ donation. So, we have established a NGO " CHARU MARKET HEALTH WELFARE SOCIETY " to work in this ground in view to provide mass awareness about Organ Donation after Brain Death to Save Valuable Lives.
