আমাদের এলাকায় গত দু-তিনদিন ধরে ভারী বৃষ্টির কারণে, জল জমে যাওয়ায় রাস্তায় এবং লোকেদের বাড়ির ভিতরেও জল ঢুকে যায়, যার ফলে এলাকার মানুষদের স্বাভাবিক জীবন যাপনে অসুবিধার সৃষ্টি হয়, কিছু কিছু বাড়িতে রান্না করার জায়গা পর্যন্ত থাকে না, এমনকি ঘুমোনোর জন্য হয়তো প্রতিবেশী কারো দু তলা বাড়ি থাকলে সেখানে আশ্রয় নিতে হয়, এমন অবস্থায় কল্পনা করে দেখুন, দিনআনা দিন খাওয়া দরিদ্র মানুষদের মানুষগুলি কিরূপ সমস্যার সম্মুখীন হতে হয়েছে। এরকম কিছু পরিবারকে প্রাকৃতিক দুর্যোগে ত্রাণ স্বরূপ, মুসকান সোশ্যাল একাডেমী কুচিনা ফাউন্ডেশন এর সহযোগিতায় কিছু শুকনো খাবার তাদের কাছে পৌঁছে দেওয়ার ছোট্ট প্রচেষ্টা করেছে। আশা করছি, আমাদের এই ক্ষুদ্র প্রচেষ্টা তাদের কিছুটা হলেও উপকার করতে সক্ষম হবে।
