KMF foundation has been established on the name of Late Smt. Kajalrekha Banerjee since ten years to be able to provide an obvious support to the physical disability of the musicians and music students as much as possible.

Celebrating the music of our beloved Guruji on August 25th at Dr. Triguna Sen Auditorium. The event was a huge success beginning with a mesmerising presentation by students of Taalsen Music Academy, followed by an electrifying performance of Shri Rupak Bhattacharjee leaving us all spellbound. Shubhodhwani 2024 came to a close with Pt. Swaraj Bhattacharya’s lively and learned presentation filled with timeless compositions by great Gurus. We are grateful for the packed house of respected artists, musicians, and media representatives. This will always be our tribute, our way to remember him on this day.
Shri Hiranmay Mitra, a remarkable musician, a learned Harmonium player and renowned name in the field of music will be performing at Shubhodhwani tomorrow, 25th August. He invites you to come over and spend an evening celebrating the life, music, and the legend himself.

Today, as we gather to celebrate the life and legacy of our beloved founder, our hearts are heavy with the weight of recent events. The ghastly incident has shaken us all, and we stand in solidarity with the protests against injustice and violence. We are certain that he, who is always with us in spirit, would have supported this noble cause and stood with us in demanding justice.
And yet, even in the midst of such turmoil, we believe that music has the power to heal, to inspire, and to bring us together. His life and work were a testament to this belief, and we honor his memory by continuing to spread love, hope, and harmony through our art.
In remembrance of him, join us at Shubhodhwani (শুভধ্বনি), 5:30 pm at Rabindra Sadan, as we come together to celebrate his birthday and legacy. Let us find solace in the beauty of music, and let us emerge stronger, more united, and more determined to create a world that is just and equitable for all.
