THE LANTERN HOUSE
House built in 2 cents

The Lantern House as name says is an enlightening space for Mr.Dinak and his family members who is out of the way from receiving love & happiness. The project aims at achieving a healing space for the client with grievous lifestyle condition. The landscape series aligning the boundaries of the site and the lanterns drip down from wooden blocks extended from facade turns the mood board to a warm place or tranquility amidst tne grieves.

The site is located in a small town of Thana, Kannur surrounded by ancestral residence on rear and residence on west side which limit the entry from the road on south side The steep slope ranging from 0-6m makes it challenging as well as gives an opportunity
for design development.
